I recently received the Campbell Ultrafiltration+ On the Go Filter Straw for my outdoor adventures, and it has exceeded my expectations! This filter straw is incredibly compact and fits perfectly in my travel mugs and water bottles. It’s easy to take along on hikes, camping trips, or even just for everyday use because I'm happy with the taste. The included waterproof storage bag is a great touch for keeping everything organized and ready to go.This straw is said to remove 99.9% of harmful contaminants, including bacteria, viruses, and heavy metals. I recently tried it at home and filtered tap water that had not yet been treated through another device. The water tasted crisp and clean, with no odd smells or aftertastes. I felt completely safe drinking it, and I’m happy to report no stomach issues afterward! The straw comes with both a straight and angled option, making it versatile for different bottles and mugs. It was simple to screw the filter onto the straw, and I didn’t have to exert much effort to get the water flowing. The clear instructions provided made it easy to understand how to use, clean, and store the straw. This filter also has a life of up to 100 gallons, and I appreciate that I can replace the filter easily. I plan to keep extra filters on hand for any upcoming trips.A water filter is a must-have for emergencies when clean drinking water isn’t available and it gives me peace of mind knowing I have a reliable and portable way to access safe water in case of unexpected situations.I recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient, effective, and portable way to ensure clean hydration on the go!

Nice that you can use this straw with any cup, but LOVE that you can use this with most lidded tumblers. It's about the length of a standard straw, but the filter on the end gives it a bit more height. A bit too short for a lidded 40 oz stanley or simple modern tumbler, but easily accommodated a lidded 32 oz yeti tumbler, as well as a 24 Oz contigo water bottle. It seems pretty durable as a whole, and the filter end piece seems well constructed. It came with 2 straws, 1 filter.Easily cleanable and came in a sealable storage pouch for transport and storing when not in use, making it a very functional, packable, easily stowable option when traveling. Perfect for trips when you don't really trust the tap water. We used this on a camping trip this past weekend with stream water that was filtered through another device, and it was as crispy, clean, and delicious as water gets. No odd taste or smell. It's been 48 hours since we drank the stream water and no upset stomachs or other ill effects have shown thus far (knock on wood). It did come with very clear instructions on how to use, clean, care for, and store it, as well as an estimate on how many gallons you can get out of each filter (about 1k) so there was no guesswork.Simple to screw the filter onto the base of the straw, and didn't require an obscene amount of sucking to get the water to pull through it.I'll update accordingly after more usage during travel. Eager to see how NC coastal, Florida, or California tap water will taste when used with this straw filter. That'll be the real test lol.

This Campbell filter straw is a must have for camping or emergencies, when you might be in a place that doesn’t have clean water to drink. It comes with two straw as and one filter cartridge plus a handy storage bag to hold everything together. Filter cartridge says it lasts for 100 gallons of water which should provide a lot of use prior to needing to replace. I would suggest completely drying out the cartridge if you are going to store it for a while as you don’t want to have mildew develop from the water sitting in the cartridge. They do fit in a water bottle which makes it easy if you are in a stream to fill your water bottle and drink from these straws. Just a disclaimer that I didn’t run this water through any water tester or send it off to a lab to test bacteria levels however I do know filter cartridges like these do help to remove a lot of contaminants. As with most products like these, they are for emergencies when safe drinking water is not available and you are in need of water. In an emergency when no other water is available and you need drinking water this will definitely be a plus to have around. I recommend the Campbell filter straws.

This is a well constructed filter plus straw assembly. Easier to use as the filter is about 2" and straws about 9" all added together gives you the convenient length for drinking from a cup or just straight from a stream. It's supposed to removed 99.999% of bacteria, viruses and other contaminants (for all the filtration systems I've used there is always that 0.001% chance of the water not being clean enough but that probably goes for potable tap water too). Just a bit of confusion about how long it'll last: the description on the product page as well as the flyer inside the package indicate up to 100 gallons (35 gallons for chlorine). However on the 3rd product photo it says 10 gallons. Assume that's a misprint so hope for 100 gallons. Anyway it also says when the water stops flowing smoothly then it's time to change the filter. Not sure where to get more however, wish there's at least one extra filter included and info on replacements. Anyway will be field testing it soon on upcoming camping trips - don't always end up having to use filters but it gives peace of mind to pack one just in case.
