This is mostly as described...the fabric is sheer and very lightweight, seems to be nice and strong. Both ends have long lengths of strapping that can be adjusted as to where it will hook in to whatever you are using as a frame. I found that the tension at both ends needs to be extremely tight, requiring great effort to set up, in order to keep my butt off the ground. My complaint, and why I am seeking another hammock, is that when you sink into the fabric (lying the long way), it rolls over and around you, and i can't figure out an easy way to keep that from happening. It's a little claustrophobic and makes it hard to see or read, etc. I don't know if this is common to all hammocks without a spreader, maybe people like it this way. Not for me, but the thing is well made.

This hammock is perfect for hiking and is super lightweight to carry around. On top of that it's very easy to pack and repack the hammock into the bag. You really can just stuff it in there and it all fits comfortably. It has two caribeanner latches on each for mounting which you use with the provided straps. The hammock is very comfortable which you can sit on or lay in. I set this hammock up under my porch between two posts and even with it being as lightweight as it is, it can easily hold two 150lb+ people. Great hammock that will definitely be coming along on hiking/camping trips

Super pleased with this. It packs and repacks easily into the bag that's built into it and supported a grown adult's weight with no issues, so far. It sets up pretty easily to any tree trunk or post that can support the amount of weight you want to sling, with numerous loops to adjust the length to your needs. The included straps are very sturdy and rugged and the carabiner clips are thick enough steel to inspire confidence rather than trepidation. If I had any wish for improvement it would be slightly more length to it, as there are two trees in my yard that are juuuuust far enough apart that I can't set it up near the pond in back of my house. But, I've found it's generally a pretty reasonable length to set it up on a porch or wherever you end up hiking to as long as the tree cover's modest to generous. It makes a great little thing to hang off your pack and bring with you, and the price is very reasonable for that purpose.

I would like to state the one negative thing I find to be the most important. Do not exceed the 400 weight limit when using the provided straps!All the parachute fabric like hammocks I own state on the carabiners that they are rated for 400 lbs each but the straps are for 200 lbs. If you plan on using the provided straps, then please do not exceed the 400 lbs weight limit. If the provided straps came with a tag stating a higher weight limit , then by all means go ahead and test the limit.If you want to be confident in your straps, just pick up a 2 pack cam buckle tie-down strap that’s less then 10 dollars (approx 6 at big box store) that has a working load limit of 400 lbs. each and you are able to set up way faster attaching it anywhere be it trees ( and be tree friendly) or any attachment point that can handle the weight and you can also adjust the length to tighten or loosen in mere seconds to your comfort.The hammock itself is pretty true to its description ( other than the 500 lbs claim with provided equipment) and I find it to be almost identical to my other hammocks that cost approx. 60+ dollars. I tested it out with my suggested straps and the hammock held well just like my others. Stitching looked good, fabric felt smooth and the attached pouch is sized right. At the current price point, I wouldn’t have a problem picking another one up as family all want one for themselves.

We are blessed to live on property with an aspen grove in our front yard. The minute this arrived, my kids proceeded to hang it up in the aforementioned aspen trees.This hammock is well made and spacious, I would have no concerns hanging out in it. The hammock material feels nice against your skin but feels like it is substantial enough to hold up in an outdoor environment. The attachment hardware is easy to use and quite substantial, it was easy to hang, my kids had it up in just a couple of minutes.It comes packed in a nice attached storage/carrying case which would be perfect to keep in your car or pack for your next outdoor adventure. Additionally, the storage sack, being sewn to the hammock, doubles as place to hold your water bottle, phone, etc while you are hanging out. Well done!

I was impressed by the quality of this hammock set. Especially since it costs under $20. That’s a great value for your money. It’s easy to set up and compact for travel. My people are of hardy stock so the ability to hold 2 people up to 500 lbs is a definite plus. I love the color and fabric.

This is a big hammock! While it's only about 12" larger (end to end) than those I've had in the past, it's a noticeable difference when in use.There are lots of trunk-width adjustments available with the many loops on the included straps. It comes with carabiners so no extra equipment is necessary, as long as your stand or trees are a reasonable distance apart.The blue and grey are true to color.The material is thin but with overlapping stitching. From past experience with this sort of fabric, I expect the seams to last longer than the "heavy traffic" areas of the fabric. The potential for worn-through fabric is a reasonable tradeoff for its portability, though. It's easy to fit back into the included pouch, but harder to do so if you also try to stuff the tree straps in there, too.Right now this is about $16 with coupon, making it a good buy based on similar hammocks we've had in the past.
