In compare to other brands, this heater is a little pricey because it's so much bigger and has higher heat. Moreover, it has a flashlight which is useful during night. In addition, you can use any kind of propane cylinder, but I only used the small size one which fits. The whole body is made with weightless aluminum which is easy to move it around.

This Camplux heater was priced at $113.99 at the time of this review. It's very simple and works well. The dial controls the gas flow to the heater. The ignitor works. The tip sensor works. The Logo on the front was installed upside down. The Led Light shines in your face. Overall not a bad heater. No thermostat or blower.

I grabbed this for some chilly camping trips and it performs just as well as the more expensive versions I’ve used in the past. Fires up easily, throws out a ton of heat, and the built-in safety features like tip-over protection and ODS sensor give some peace of mind when using it inside a tent or small space. The little LED light is a nice bonus too. Only thing I noticed is it’s a bit bulkier than I expected, so it takes up a little more room in the car, but totally worth it for the warm!

Great portable heater. We have another brand and this one is definitely comparable!

I’ve used this over the past few weeks, and think the quality of it is quite nice, and very reasonably priced considering what you get. It takes my propane cylinders just fine, and heats up nicely. The LED light is a bit of a gimmick and seems like an after thought as the battery compartment is always impossible to get to. Although better alternatives do exist out there, they often cost more. This option met my expectations and I view it as an excellent value.

This puts out a good amount of heat. I tested it in my garage and I was impressed with how much heat it was putting out. That said, it was a bit scary to use. First, I didn't understand that you had to hold the dial in for the first full minute you turned it on. Basically, you push the button in to get it to turn, turn it to the middle for the "ignite" position, and then just keep holding the button in for 30 seconds to a minute. I guess this is what allows it to put out enough propane to light up the front. Then you can turn the dial to other settings that control how warm you want it. That was a bit scary because the flames were pulsing and I was honestly afraid the whole thing was going to explode. Maybe that's normal? But it made me uncomfortable. After it had been running for a few minutes, that pulsing of the fire died down. But it always smelled like propane to me. I mean, it is a propane heater, but I didn't expect the smell of propane to be that strong. Maybe something is wrong with mine? I'm not sure. It's the second one I got. The first arrived broken (huge crack in the red plastic handle that had detached the part that is meant to hold the propane bottle). The build quality seems... meh. It rattles a lot when you pick it up and move it around. It was protected fine in the box, so I guess it's just made that way but all the rattling makes me concerned something is loose. It's very lightweight, but it's also pretty large. I think it would be good to heat up a larger tent, but I wouldn't feel comfortable using it inside a trailer or anything like that even with the windows open. Those flames are too scary.I haven't tried the competitor versions of this, so I can't compare to those. This is ok to have for those emergency heating needs, but I don't think I'll be using it as much as I'd planned because I just don't trust it.
