This item was not cheap. It was heavy and shipped in a box 15 inches long and 8 inches high by 8 inches wide. The cannon ball was put in this box loose. The cannon ball box is 5 inches long by 4 inches wide and 4 inches high. Needless to say it arrived with the paint missing on the connector rings and the cannon logos messed up. The hooks wore through the box in transit. This isn't the first time this has happened and it is such a waste of material and time. I have had to return items damaged before and can't figure out the problem Amazon has with being cautious.

Sticker was starting to peel off when it arrived, but I stuck it back on and it seems to be holding. My other weight is heavier, and I do like this one better.

Works OK. Coating takes a beating if you happen to bounce off the bottom a few times. The reflective stickers fell off the second time I used it

Seems to be the correct weight for a Scotty 1060 trolling arm on a 17 foot Tracker boat. Not so heavy to make it a pain to retrieve but heavy enough to stay in place at decent trolling speeds.

Down rigger is rated for 4 or six pound weight. Should be stated that it 's rating should be for six pound weight

Got here when they said it would get here. Caught a fish using it for the first time. Can't get better than that.

I finally was able to actually use this item, although I am not quite certain it was the reason I did not catch fish, it performed as it was suppose to and that is to sink my fishing line to the desired depth.

I have not used it yet (it's still ice fishing season) but I know it is going to work as expected. The fin is 1 inch long with an eye molded on to that( 1 1/2 inches over all. The line eye is in the center of the fin and not on top of the fin as it is pictured. The eye that the down rigger wire attaches to is in the center of the ball and not angled forward as pictured. The pictured weight must be a heavier version.

What can you say? It does it's job and doesn't twist the line or screw up. It's a good design in this regard. It is also covered and doesn"t scar the boat when it hits. I like it.
