As I used this training bat for baseball and softball, I was impressed by its ability to improve swing speed, power, and hand-eye coordination. However, I did notice some drawbacks.One of the major cons is the low weight, which may not be suitable for all skill levels. The bat is also relatively short, which may limit its effectiveness in certain situations. Additionally, the lack of a logo for Little League may be a drawback for some users.The pros, on the other hand, are clear. The bat is well-designed for improving swing speed, power, and hand-eye coordination, making it an excellent choice for training and practice. This is such a cute little bat! I picked this up for a kiddo who is looking to improve his skills in anticipation of baseball next year, and we've incorporated this into an obstacle course that he is using to train. He has really gotten a kick out of it for practice, and even though he had to spend some time looking into one handed baseball drills, it's quickly become one of his favorite tools. I think it is improving his overall performance. It also looks very sleek and fits well in his practice bag for when the kiddos go to the park - being lightweight makes it a good option for on the go! This is a great little practice bat and I would recommend it for others.

I picked up this bat to try knocking around a couple of balls in the backyard, and to otherwise keep by the front door as a bit of a deterrent in case of unwanted visitors, that sort of thing.It's a short bat, true to spec.The paint finish is great. Since it's an aluminium bat, I figured it might have some sort of glossy, or semi-glossy anodization. But it turns out that the bat has what appears to be a powder coated finish. I haven't gone too hard at it yet, but enough to say that the paint appears very durable, and relatively thick. As of now, I haven't managed to chip, or even scratch the bat, despite it being in contact with both stone flooring and concrete.The printing on the bat is likewise good, and appears to be durable. It's not blurry, and nor is there detectable rasterization. It blends in well with the paint, with no raised edges.I half expected the pommel to be loose, or atleast to seem like it was glued on or somesuch, but as far as I can tell, it's either all made from one piece, or the pommel is very well attached indeed.The tape on the handle is of good quality, with a smooth rubber texture, and it is finished with what looks like electrical tape towards the top of the bat. That last part is not something I particularily like, but it's perfectly fine at this price point, for a bat like this.The material is almost certainly aluminium, as the listing states. It's a little bit lighter than I expected, but appears durable, and has zero flex. I certainly can't bend it by hand, and I haven't even managed to dent it yet. I took a magnet to it, to see if it might be some sort of cheap steel alloy, but it's absolutely not magnetic, and that, in combination with the weight, most certainly means that it's made from some form of aluminium.For the listed use case (baseball/softball training bat), this is great. Not something you'd bring to a game, but for the backyard, this is perfectly servicable. It's also perfect for younger kids, for whom the length will work well. This lack of weight might mean that balls don't reach all that far, but this isn't a drawback when it comes to using it on the average backyard.For the secondary use I had in mind (intruder deterrent), it is perhaps less useful. It's probably a bit too short for some people to take it seriously, and the low weight means it won't have a lot of impact. In all honesty, I think if you're more interested in efficiency over looks here, something like a regular hammer will be a cheaper, and better option for most metrics involved.Nevertheless, I'm grading this on the stated use-case, and I will say that it's a great backyard training bat. So this is a definite recommended buy.
