very helpful. I can open this book on my Samsung mobile phone. Very handy and easy to use. Being in colour also makes in easy to follow all help.

Excellent book. Very detailed and well written. Highly recommend. If your looking for a good book to explain your Canon T6i this is it. Also its a good solid book, gloss pages, very sturdy.

Larger than I expected, but still small enough to have on vacation, very informative with good tips.

Although I have owned several Canon SLR's and DSLR's they all have subtle differences which require explaining especially those functions which you do not use every day. Canon do provide a comprehensive manual, but these days it is generally a file on a CD or download - not particularly convenient when out and about trying to shoot pictures. This expanded guide goes a little beyond the manual, but most importantly, it is small enough to carry with you camera equipment to be on hand when it is most needed. It is well produced, in a rugged cover and uses full colour illustrations where needed. Thoroughly recommended to all photographers.

Helpful guide but the David Busch guide is better.

As the owner of a new T6i I was looking for a field book to carry around that was BIGGER print than the Canon manual. I ordered another book but it was way too large. This book by David Taylor is perfect. Not only is it small enough to carry around, the print on each page is large enough to actually read also. And, as mentioned by others, the quality of the cover, binding and pages is such that it will stand up in outdoor conditions. Now to the content... it gives far more than the manual and has information about filters, setup, lighting, etc. I highly recommend this for your camera bag.

For me - very difficult to read due to the light gray print. I am always straining to see the print. Big negative for me.Also, regarding content , in many places the reference to using certain buttons did not get me to where the book indicated?? Frustrating. The focus seems to be on operation, or what each button does - not how to use it to take good photos.

This book is designed very well, fits in the camera bag, and has informed me of much about the T6i. The pages and cover of this book seem like they will stand up to years of field use. Very satisfied with this purchase. Ordered it very late Thursday and was reading it the following Thursday.

My EOS 760D came with a disc which contained a manual that was hundreds of pages long, all of which needed to be read from the computer screen. This book, which incidentally has much better illustrations than the manual, is of similar length, but it explains things so much better. Not only does it explain what to do and how to do it, but it explains why and when you might want to consider doing it. In the menus that set up a great variety of possible ways of using the camera, the implications of each decision are explained (if you take photos of THIS, then you need to set THAT, but beware that it might affect the OTHER), much of which is far from obvious. I loved this book!Purchasers of the 750D note: the illustrations are all of the 760D.

This book is very detailed and goes through all of the features of the camera to get you going. I really like how the author has a detailed explanations of an topics which are then followed up by picture examples. Would recommend this book for a person just starting out with the camera or for someone who needs a few tips. The pages are thick and durable to withstand getting wet to an extent and the book itself is not large or bulky to carry around in a camera bag for quick reference.

Excellent guide for Canon EOS Rebel T6s and T6i. I'm learning how to use this camera, which is a step up from an amateurs DSLR but not quite a prosumer level. Here's what I like about this book compared to the others:1. High quality paper that probably is resistant light wetness from fog or mist.2. small enough to fit in a camera bag.3. Wallet cards that can be removed from the back page that give quick how-to's on various functions.4. Excellent description of focusing and lighting with sample photos and "screenshots" from the view finder. The camera has some sophisticated features that require more explanation than your point and shoot iPhone.5. This book is much easier to use than the fairly substantial owner's manual that comes with these cameras. If you're an expert amateur photographer and are familiar with Canon interfaces, I think this book still will be useful to your needs. If you're new to DSLR photography and this is your first Canon, this book will be an excellent resource in the home and out in nature to help you get the best photos possible.

I have used several books for the Canon EOS Rebel T6s and this is the most useful of them all. It is very concise and easy to understand. It even has a small punch out card for use as a "cheat sheet" and it is really ease to understand and use.
