The description of this frame seem to be confused with some other frames, as are the reviews. This is NOT a wood frame. It is made of some kind of plastic. I wasn't too disappointed when I first received it as it looked OK for what I needed it for.But....A job that should have taken five minutes to do ended up taking me an hour and a half. I broke one drill bit and got two others stuck. The predrilled holes don't go all the way through and were just about impossible to drill through. When I did finally get my painting assembled, it was crooked so I assume that the pre-drilled holes were skewed and the screws didn't go in straight. I have been framing my own paintings for forty years so I'm positive that it was not my fault.If you read the reviews, some call it a wood frame and others plastic. Who is actually the manufacturer? Where do these come from? I will NEVER order another frame from this vendor.

I needed a picture frame but was shocked when I saw how much wooden ones were! I bought this one and was afraid that it would look cheap, but it doesn't!

It says it fits a 7/8 deep pic. It does not. It is not deep enough for my picture. Alot of my picture sticks outside of the frame.
