Works as expected. I am 160 pounds using a 34 inch door and works great. You do need to make 3 holes on each side of the door but other than that I have no complains.

Came missing half the hardware needed to mount it. But i think they got lost during shipping because the way they packed it wasn't very good. It works well though without that stuff, my 110lb daughter uses it for her sensory swing and it has stayed up so far.

I was looking for a pull up bar for my 9 and 10 year old boys. For my purpose, this thing is great and its cheap! For what I paid, I feel I got what I was expecting. This bar is lightweight and with me using at (185lbs) it feels ok but definitely flexes, if I was pushing 210+ I dont think id trust it. All in all I feel i got what I paid for.

The higher you put it the safer it is, so that you don’t bend the door frame permanently, there is a huge gap when the door is closed, barely latches now. And this is only after kid played couple times, the mistake we made was that we left it in place overnight.

Follow the instructions (use the screw in mounts with the bar, not just the bar by itself) and it'll work great.

Great affordable bar. It was coming loose upon use and I realized the middle screw had to come out after tightening.1. Install mounting rings or rubber knobs ( I only need to rubber knobs since the user is 2. Put the bar between and rotate both ends the same direction to expand it open.3. Once its tight, remove the center screw. Keep it, youll need it to retighten or remove the bar. With the middle screw out the center rotates freely and does not loosen the bar. With the screw in you can tighten and loosten the bar.****Remove the middle screw once its up and tight! I dont think this fact was in the instructions.****

I used different screws than the ones supplied. They def would still work but im close to the "max weight" so I didn't want there to be any issues. But if you install this as the directions say and make sure ya make the bar tight you'll have ZERO PROBLEMS. I weigh prob 205 and this thing was solid. What else I like is it comes with these small rubber single screw holders if you want to do sit ups at the bottom of your door. Very smart design. As you can see regular over the molding type no screw pull up bars won't work in my house. My house is an older style. Built for smaller ppl I think lol. But I really like this pull up bar. If I have any issues I will come back and edit my review

The description says it can fit into the 36" door frame - this is false. See attached pictures, to fit it into the 36" you have to overextend the bar past the MAX marks and the bar starts to flex dangerously after that. You can put some spacers out of 3/4" plywood, this will give you 1.5" back so bar will be a little sturdier, but it will still flex. The max extension where the bar is save to use I would say is 33" so you will need 2 spacers out of 2x4" and you will have to use your own bolts as bolts supplied are too short.
