Wrap strings around console lid and tie a double knot. Take straps across front of front seats and attach to headrest posts closest to the doors. Push the headrests back down so to hide the straps. The straps should be positioned so the hammock can be formed behind the console. I wanted to like this but I got a used one to start and it had a note with comments from the previous person.The bottom has a flat support but in order for that to work your chairs would need to be moved forward so this sits on the center console behind the seats so if you change the position of your seats this won’t work. I needed something for between the chairs and this was just so awkward and stiff it didn’t work.

It's easy to install. I keep my tissue box in it and other small items that are usually out of reach. It keeps my purse handy and not on the floor. I might get one for my daughter for her birthday.

So happy that I bought this. Went on a recent trip and it was so handy. Did not have to purse on the floor. It was great for all small things. Example tissues, extra water bottle, book, snacks. It does not interfere with the back seat space or center counsel.

I’m going to test it out for a few trips but first impressions are mediocre. It fits odd, the base is a bit wide for my application (might work better for others) and rubs on the seats when adjusting on the front corners. The front pocket is too flexible and honestly shallow for most any purse. I carry a concert size square bucket purse and it fills up the space, not sure if it could handle anything bigger and not fall out.
