The sterio was good for a while, but after about 5-6 months of use it completely broke and wouldn't turn on, triple checked all the connections to be sure, but the thing just died. And on top of that, I tried to remove the wiring harness from the back and the thing just fell apart, all the screws on the back snapped off all at once with minimal pressure.

Fairly easy install. Haven’t installed camera yet but shouldn’t be too bad. I did however have to program it for the steering wheel controls but wasn’t too hard. Instructions weren’t very clear but basic install. Password is 000000. It’s listening the manual. Sounds great over factory unit. Wireless CarPlay messes up occasionally but could be my Bluetooth. Idk Still a solid 5 star.

After a fast install (30mins), I was pleased to find everything worked like a dream. I have access to everything I already had (radio/music and such) and now a ton more, including everything on my phone. The screen is bright and clear, with decent resolution, so you could even watch movies on it without issue. With Play Store access, you can download most apps you use on your phone, and having online and offline GPS means you can never get lost.If you're looking for a good upgrade to your truck, look no further!

This Carplay system was a huge upgrade. I had it installed by a pro and it was pretty straightforward installation. Easy to sync by bluetooth to your phone. The stereo sounds great. The picture quality is crisp and clear. Videos show with great quality and the touchscreen is very responsive. GPS and navigation works great.

Instructions are terrible to get everything working. Easy enough to install but onscreen prompts don't make sense. Can't get steering wheel controls to connect. Should have spent a few more dollars for a better unit. Also, this is my 2nd review. Haven't heard a word back. Stay away from this company

I ordered this twice, the first time, I received a box that was clearly opened, sifted through and missing installation parts. Initiated a refund but ordered a second one right away just because I didn’t want to get that same incomplete package back.At that point, I didn’t have much hope for it being much of a usable product. After reading negative reviews, I still decided I’d make it work since I just wanted Bluetooth and a backup camera.Installation was not necessarily straightforward to make everything work, but if you’ve worked on cars a bit you can certainly figure it out. As far as getting the unit up and running as a radio, it is truly plug and play. Two harnesses and it’ll turn on with your ignition and function as a radio. The backup camera was my biggest obstacle. Routing the wires for it may require a new hole in a body grommet. The actual wiring at the camera was the most difficult. I tried to tap/splice into the reverse light wiring, it just wouldn’t work. Ended up splicing into the white and light green wires in the factory hitch tv/trailer harness and it worked immediately after that.Sound quality seems awful at first, until you learn to navigate through the apps and find the equalizer. Then it’s up to you what the tone is like, I like the jazz setting, but it’s fully customizable. Some other issues people have are their phone automatically repairing. I went into my phone’s settings under Bluetooth, selected the blue i next to Car BT, then set the device as a car stereo. Seems to work good now. When using wireless CarPlay, if you leave CarPlay and go to the car screen, it looks like no phone is paired. You want to swipe through the apps and click zlink to get back to CarPlay. Once you realize this it’s less concerning that connectivity is an issue.Once I got the complete package, the fit was pretty good. Looks great installed, backup camera wiring was actually long enough to reach the back of a Silverado. All wires were plenty long.Seems like a good quality unit for this price, and I’m actually pleasantly surprised with its looks, quality, sound and responsiveness. Wouldn’t hesitate to buy it again, despite not getting off on the right foot.Another helpful hint, figured out the factory settings screen passcode, it’s 000000.

This is a great value for the price to upgrade the stock stereo on my 2010 GMC Yukon XL SLT. The instruction manual that came with the unit is small and hard to see. Thankfully it's a pretty simple plug & play application. I used the stock rear camera for my initial install. It works fine but the picture quality isn't great. It sufficiently works and gets the job done. I'll probably see if the camera that came with the unit offers a better picture. If it does the I'll probably wire that in. I wasn't a fan of the the speaker that came with the unit for the blinker sound so I disconnected it. I have the Bose Speakers/Amp in my car. When I hooked this unit up the sound didn't work. There is a blue wire that is marked "cut if no sound" which I did and the sound started working. For the FM radio the lowest sound setting is fairly loud. Haven't figured out how to dial it down. Anything streamed from my phone can be adjusted with the phone. I had to access the factory settings to change it from kph to mph but the password is nowhere to be found. Contacted customer support and they responded with 24hrs. Code is 000000 and it allows me to change a bunch of the factory settings. Overall this is a great value for the price.

I recently purchased the Car Radio Stereo 2+64GB for my Chevy Chevrolet Silverado, and I have mixed feelings about it. On the positive side, the 2+64GB storage capacity is quite generous, allowing me to store plenty of music and other media files. The interface is user-friendly and easy to navigate, which is a definite plus. The installation process was relatively straightforward, and the unit looks sleek once installed. However, I encountered some issues with the CarPlay functionality. The connection seemed to be intermittent, and I experienced frequent disconnects while using CarPlay. This was quite frustrating, especially considering that CarPlay was one of the main features that attracted me to this stereo in the first place.Additionally, I found the sound quality to be somewhat lacking. Even after adjusting the settings, I couldn't achieve the rich, immersive sound that I was hoping for. This was disappointing, as I consider audio quality to be a crucial aspect of any car stereo system.Overall, while the storage capacity and user interface are commendable, the issues with CarPlay functionality and sound quality detract from the overall experience. I hope that future updates or improvements can address these issues, as the potential is certainly there for this to be an excellent car stereo system.

I recently upgraded my Chevy with the Car Radio Stereo 2+64GB from AWESAFE Store, and here’s what I found:Right out of the box, the stereo looked like a big step up. It has a sleek design that fits nicely into my dash, almost as if it were custom-made for my Silverado. Installation wasn’t too difficult—just required some patience and a couple of YouTube videos to guide me through. With 2GB RAM and 64GB of storage, there’s plenty of space for apps, maps, and playlists, and the Android system runs smoothly with no lag. Switching between CarPlay and Android Auto is effortless, allowing hands-free access to calls, music, and navigation. Wireless connectivity is especially convenient, letting me operate everything without needing to touch my phone—great for safety and convenience.A standout feature is the GPS with offline maps, which is really helpful when I drive through areas with poor cell service. The sound quality was average initially, but adjusting the built-in equalizer made a big difference. Bluetooth was a bit tricky at first, but after a few tries, it stabilized. The hands-free calling works well with the built-in mic, and audio through my truck’s speakers is clear and strong. There are a few areas that could improve, though. The boot-up time could be quicker, and I noticed occasional CarPlay disconnections, which was a bit frustrating, though not a dealbreaker. Installation might feel challenging for those new to wiring, so a tutorial or two would be a good idea. All in all, the Car Radio Stereo 2+64GB is a solid upgrade for anyone looking to bring some tech-savvy features to their Chevy. With easy access to CarPlay and Android Auto, reliable GPS, and good sound quality, it has definitely enhanced my driving experience.
