It works but its laggy and takes about a full minute when you start your car to have the unit connect to your phone. Think of a cheap no name android tablet and how the quality of those are and this is that in a car radio sense.

This touchscreen stereo for a Tacoma 2011 is easy to see while driving. The screen responds very quickly when you touch it. It's made to fit right in with the design of the Tacoma. The backup camera is great to add if you don't have one already. It has a lot of storage space for you to upload music to. Its DSP and equalizer makes the audio sound a lot better than the stock radio.

The upgraded stereo effect makes the music sound richer, with stronger bass and clearer treble. Whether listening to the radio or playing music on the phone, the overall experience has been upgraded. Especially when driving on the highway, the sound quality is still stable and there is no noise, which surprised me. I think the installation process is a little complicated. Although the instructions are detailed, it still took me some time to figure it out for someone like me who doesn't know much about automotive electronics. It might be better if a simpler installation guide or video tutorial could be provided.
