How to Install the Door Hooks?
Step 1
Open your door and carefully pull back the weatherstripping seal.
Step 2
With the seal pulled back, place one of the 4 included door hooks on the metal doorframe.
Step 3
Applying gentle force, pop the weatherstripping seal back into place with your hand and close the door.
Step 4
Apply the same procedure to the other doors. These hooks will safely anchor the rooftop cargo bag.

I picked this up for a road trip to Bend, Oregon. I chose a bag because I wanted storage that would accept the odd shape of the items I was storing on top of the car and I found that sky box cargo wasn't going to be great for that. I will say that it would be ideal to pick up a roof rack that you can tie this down to so it's not just sitting against the car, but it's not critical. I personally have a roof rack so attaching this cargo bag was easy.the zipper closure is pretty decent and the bag feels durable. I drove over Mt. Hood on my way to central Oregon and we got hit 30-45 minutes of rain and the bag did well to keep stuff dry. Everything I had in the bag was also in some kind of other container (which I recommend) but I was very concerned but it was nice to see that bag didn't completely fail.Cargo boxes are expensive and hard to store. On top of that. how often will you really use the box and where are you going to put it when you're not using it? Can you imagine having to remove it for car washes? There are many reasons why a cargo box is great but bags like this one are perfect for those that need a short term solution and want to pack it away when it is not in use.

This Cargo Carrier Bag is AWESOME!Things I love- this thing is beefy and robust! The material is waterproof and rip resistant. The zippers are strong, locking and are also water proof. The straps have reinforcement around them to help protect the bag and make the securing more solid. The seams and joints of the bag are all reinforced! It comes with extra straps and tie downs and is easy to install on any roof type.If you need the extra room in your car for adventures or travel this thing is amazing!I think this is a killer price point for the quality and usefulness of this cargo bag. Total win!

Just got back from a trip that was 8 hours each way and it held up great. We were caught in the remnants of hurricane Debby on the way back and I thought everything would be soaked, but when we unzipped at home, everything was dry. I was impressed. So nice to have more room inside my small car. We had lots of camping equipment and all of it fit well.

Before your first use, make sure you take some time to familiarize yourself with this carrier and give yourself extra time to get it packed the first time. The zippers can be a little tough to get around the corners with the plastic and your fingers are cold as well. But you can fit a lot in this carrier.I've used this twice now for family trips where we have two adults, two teenage kids, and two dogs in a small SUV. Both times, we've been able to get almost all our luggage in the carrier so that we are not all jammed in. It still hasn't rained or snowed on us yet, so can't speak to the waterproof character of the closure, but it feels quite rugged.So far quite happy with the quality of the built of the bag and it's respective straps. I would definitely recommend this product.

You need to familiarize your self with how to pack the bag and ensure proper tightness Worked well going from Kentucky to Myrtle Beach. Performed Very Well in the rain. Nothing got damp or wet. Also make sure it is full to capacity so that it doesn't flap in the wind.
