At 50-100 PPM, an alert will trigger within 80 minutes; for 100-300 PPM, the alert activates within 30 minutes; and at concentrations above 300 PPM, the alarm goes off within 3 minutes.

This is a surprisingly small device. It would be perfect for travel, but with an easy to see display it would be just fine to permanently mount nearly anywhere. This is a very small cost for such peace of mind. It takes 3 AAA batteries and also alerts when the batteries get low.There is no way for me to test the accuracy of this unit but I did put it near some exhaust and saw the numbers increase to levels that should have triggered the alarm. I can't speak on the sound level of the alarm because I found out later it has to register a certain level for a certain amount of time to actually turn into a audible alert and I didn't want to stand behind an exhaust pipe that long to find out.

The Phsmont Carbon Monoxide Detectors for Home, Depot and Travel Use is a small but loud CO detector that can be fixed in one location or easily moved, even taken when traveling, depending on your needs. It uses standard AAA batteries which are easily accessed from the back. I've used Velcro mounting strips to attach mine by the house door in my garage. It has a test button and bright, LED display. Having this gives me peace of mind when running my generator just outside the garage.

These little CO detectors are a life saver. Take one with me everywhere I say for safety. Fortunately on my last trip, one woke me up in the middle of the night when the heater was producing carbon monoxide. Worked great.

I keep these in my travel bag so I never forget them. They are small and easy to carry. Just remember a universal plug for international travel.Inexpensive and gives peace of mind. Just buy them!

Wow they've really miniaturized these I think it's almost 1/4 the size of the kidde model I had before. It literally fits in the palm of my hand with room to spare. Yet the digital is easy to read and it seems to function well and I'm hoping that with three AAA batteries it will last a long time in between I like it that it has AAA batteries and not one of those button batteries
