On occasion my husband will question the carbon monoxide level in our house. We had no way to monitor it, so when I saw this device, I knew it’d be a good tool to help put my husband at ease. It’s truly easy to set up- just plug it in! We have it near our thermostat, so I could compare the temperature readings. They’re 1-2 degrees different from the thermostat, but that’s close enough for me. The CO reading has been “00” the whole time, so hopefully it is accurate. I like how you can easily flip the numbers with the push of a button. There are instructions, but it is really easy to figure it out if you didn’t have them. I would like to read a review from someone whose meter says something other than “00” for the CO reading or if they have multiple CO readings to know how it compares. I didn’t give it 5 stars because I don’t truly know if the CO meter is accurate. I’m hoping & trusting it is. If it is, then it's a 5 star product.

This thing was ready to plug in right after being delivered.I like how you can rotate the screen to adapt with your plug.It displays everything it claims to display and the the temperature is correct so I’m assuming everything else is as well.

Couldn't be easier to get started. Plug and play!It even shows the temperature right there on the front.So far the carbon monoxide detector has always read 00. I am taking it on good faith that it is working as it should!

Rating based on temperature and humidity reading tests, *not* on CO test results.I set this up next to a heater vent with another CO reader that also meters humidity and temperature, as well as a conventional mercury thermometer and a digitial humidity/temperature unit that is older which I know to report both quite accurately.I tried using a fan to blow air and fumes from a butane torch at both CO meters. Neither budged from zero. I used a heat gun for several minutes to surround the air around the meters with air from the heatgun, as well as air blown from the heat gun directly at both meters from 3-5 feet away. Neither meter budged from zero. They could both be correct, or both be inaccurate, I have no way of knowing (I do not know whether the fumes should have triggered a move away from a OOO reading).Rating based on giving the benefit of a doubt on CO - the primary concern, but an unknown here - with a certainty that accuracy doesn't seem to have been a major concern for the other metering functions.The temperature and humidity are ballpark but the humidity reading seems obviously to be inaccurate. The temperature reading seems to be more exact than the other CO plug-in meter, but probably inaccurate.

How very handy, and safe is this product? Whoever invented this should be given some sort of wonderful prize, for sure. A plug in Carbon Monoxide Detector, you can put this in any room, no nails or hangers needed. This is a very handy tool to have, very apartment friendly. Easy to read, easy to use. Plug it in and save your life! I highly recommend. Of any gadget you could get, you need to get this one, very important to have a carbon monoxide detector in your home or apartment. My RV has a carbon monoxide detector, but it only provides an audible alert when the levels are detected at unsafe levels. This little device tells me the parts per million at any level (including 0), so I know it's always operating. Also, being able to see the temperature and humidity inside the camper—even at a distance, with the large, easy-to-read display—is an added bonus. It's a simple device, easy to use, and seems very accurate. Recommended!

This VETOUCH Carbon Monoxide Plug in Detector is easy to set up. Just press a button and change the brightness, press another button and change from Celsius to Fahrenheit. Plug it in and it’s ready to go. Couldn’t be easier.

Clear instructions and easy read display .The display can be inverted with a long press of a button allowing it to be mounted up or down in the outlet .Unit is 2" X 4-1/8" .I tested it with cigarette smoke blown though a filter , also comparing the readings with my portable tester .It appears to work very well .I use the portable meter when I start up my furnace for the fist time in the winter but really need a meter and alarm that runs 24/7 , and now I do .
