Carb flooded, needle valve leaked and rubber o-ring for float bowl became unusable after exposed to gas.

I knew I had a problem when I observed the float needle valve had a thin piece of metal shaving still attached to the tip, left over from machining. I peeled it off. Then I test fit the valve into its holder and ... no fit. OK, what the heck, I thought I would give it a go and evenly filed all four ribs of the needle valve until it slid smoothly into its brass holder. Installed in the carburetor but to no surprise to me it did not seal well and leaked. Wasted about an hour. Sending it back and ordering an actual Mikuni kit, made in Japan. This is a cheap Chinese knockoff and a complete waste of time and money.

I had a leaking overflow valve on my mikuni 42 that's on my FXR. The needle doesn't fit in the cylinder that they provided. I would return it but I already had my carb apart and I was anxious to ride so I mix matched old and new parts to get back on the road. Leak fixed but this kit was garbage. I'd return it but I used half of it.DONT BUY! also half the orings were wrong size too

Their own float valve didn't fit the seat provided. Basically useless kit.

None of the o rings were the right size. Only thing that fit were the 2 gaskets and the needle and seat. Waste of my time.
