Do not buy.The main base comes unfolded and glued - the glue immediately popped and it was then impossible to assemble. I used some of the double sided tape to attach. The roof also broke during assembly and the cardboard is extremely flimsy and ripped. This item is absolute junk and that is worse is that Amazon somehow expects me to return this pile of ripped cardboard.

I have a larger cat and needed to make one of the entry holes bigger for her to easily enter it.

One of my older kitties needed a little help getting onto the bed. Well, kitties love cardboard so enter the idea of getting this cardboard cat house to aid the journey! This house is quick to put together and creates a sturdy little kitty fort for lounging and, in our case, leaping. My 20# cat can easily go from sleeping in or on the box, to making the small leap from the top onto the bed. The longer length of this box keeps it stable under his non-trivial weight and powerful jump. All of the household felines enjoy playing in and on this cat house. Highly recommend!

It's a lovely sturdy box but my cat is too fat to fit through the round opening to get inside. It sometimes sits on top and sharpens it's claws.

Well this didn't last long in my house. I have 4 cats weight any where from my 4 pound 6 month old kitten to my 15 pound 4 year old orange boy. All the cats loved it until the boy got on top and laid on it for awhile. It was all fine and dandy until he sat up and decided to scratch the scratch pad on top. His big butt fell throgh the top, splitting the top scratching pad in half. So moral of the story, not recommended for any chonky babies you have. They will still enjoy the scratch pads I am sure.

What cat doesn't like cardboard boxes? I've even seen tigers happily sitting in a large box provided to them...so my cats are no different. I was a big confused by the title of, "Cardboard Cat House with 2 Pcs Scratching Board..." unclear if this meant 2 boxes...but it just means 2 built-up pieces of cardboard which make the two floors for the inside and the roof of this. Really, the biggest gain of this for me, over just letting them have the most recent delivery box, is the inset of the top of the box which gives a little 'cup' for our cats to sit in.Assembly is a bit finicky due to the way that this requires folding things in the right order and using some sticky tape strips to hold things together. But, largely being a box, one of our cats was on top making it her own within minutes of finished assembly. She basically made it hers and our other cat hasn't looked at it since. We've been able to move it around, and she happily curls up on the top on a regular basis, however I've never seen her actually bother scratching any of the 'scratching boards', and after one visit inside, has shown no interest in being inside. So for a somewhat finicky setup with a few nice ideas (the built-up scratching pads provide some nice support, and as mentioned, the inset top area is popular), it's a bit of a step up from a regular box.
