I ordered one of these HD CV axels for my Land Cruiser 100 series, and was delighted by the value, and quality! It was double boxed, and good upon arrival. Thus, I order a second one a week later. The second one came in a single box, un-taped/unsealed, and subsequently damaged beyond use. I sent it back and ordered a third. The third came just as bad as the second one. The boxes were destroyed. this time they double boxed it, but the outside box was WAY to big and the axel was banged up again during shipping.I am disappointed that a seller/shipper could have packaged the first product so well, only to then turn around and package the identical(s) item so poorly a week later. Time is money," for both the seller, and myself. Now I have to ordered a third one, and ship back the damaged item, and waited to get the same poor handle item! It's so frustrating. :(I still gave it three stars because the product is +5 stars, but the packaging/shipping, combined with the hassle of returning a damaged high-quality item, is -zero stars.BrysonCalifornia, USA

I was thinking about going with OEM CV axles but they are a *lot* more expensive than these Cardone CV axles. I purchased the HD Severe Duty axles because they have more bellows in the Boot than OEM.My 2002 LX470 with OEM axles and just 73K miles, both axles slit open - inner boot and RF, outter boot on LF. Never was off road - a Mall Cruiser. So, not impressed with Toyota with regards to CV boots and liked what I read about Cardone CV axles.Cost me $268 to get them installed. Everything seems just fine.

I replaced both front axles on my 2004 lx470. Axles fit well. Remains to be seen how long the axles and boots last. Angle to wheel hub from front differential is stock height so I’m hoping for many years before I have to do it again. About a fifth the price of OEM. Since I do the work myself that’s money saved.

Replaced the OEM axle at getting tired of rebuilding the factory Toyota boots for $70 per kit. This is on a Land Cruiser that sees a lot of off-roading. So far holding up great, no noise. OEM axle is about $400 so this is a great savings and Cardone has a very good reputation. Will update if any issues.
