Did exactly what I needed. Had carpet that was separating from its backing and coming off of the tack strip on a carpet to tile transition. The tack strips were doubled up so I removed one and put this over the other then nailed it down with the same nails that had been used for the tack strips. Wasn’t too hard to get my medium pile carpet into the transition strip slot either. Came out pretty good. Saved me a service call.
