Picture was of release is red in color. Good color for hunting since deer can’t see red. What comes is a bright blue release which is the most visible color to deer. When I checked with supplier I was told there is no way to tell what color you might get. I will return it.

I'd been wanting to try out thumb releases for 3D target after only ever using a wrist/index release for the past 8 years. Thumb and tension releases are the hot thing on the archery forums and I wanted to use one to help my draw form and eliminate any trigger/target panic I've developed over the years. Carter seemed to dominate the recommendations and this one in particular had people loving it.I have somewhat large hands for a girl, usually wearing a medium in unisex Mechanix gloves and this release was just HUGE. I'm sure I could have made it work, but I could never truly get a good hold in my hand or anchor without fidgeting around. It's well made, but I wouldn't consider buy it unless you wear a large or XL men's glove.I ended up with a small Stan Perfex and let me tell you, that release is absolutely worth the money. Every adjustability possible and a fit made for your hand if you use their printable size chart (I couldn't find in store to try it). I'm glad I returned this one and never have to try another.

First hinge release coming off a number of wrist straps. Transition took some time but has helped point out and smooth out flaws in my form. Great adjustability for tention, travel and thumb barrel positions. Will definitely buy another Carter in the future.

Excellent adjustability and comfort. When I first ordered it I had regret for spending so much. Once I tried it out, First shot changed my mind completely.

Improved my archery form and anchor tremendously. Built to pass down. You can set it crispy or tickle it with a feather to fire. Never going back to a wrist release again. Worth every penny. Paired with a QAD cable arrow rest and Gold Tip arrows, I can shoot a 290-300 multiple X on a vegas triple on league night... WITH A HUNTING BOW! Pull the trigger on this, you will not be dissapointed. Even laser etched my name and a graphic on mine. I love this release.

Absolutely love the just bcuz. The ability to easily change the springs and set it exactly how you want, sensitivity wise, is amazing. It so simple!

Best release aid I have ever used. Super high quality and solid release. Really helped improve my shot. Purchased mine from Bowhunter Supply Store, definitely an amazon seller I recommend.
