Not a genuine carter pump. Would not recommend, using the carter name to sell Chinese knock off. Carter pumps have carter and made in USA cast into the housing. This has a part number laser engraved and nothing else. Wouldn't trust it to not leave me stranded on the lake.

This pump worked good for 2 years then completely failed I did some research and OEM Carter pumps say Carter on the pump and have numbers stamped. these do not which leads me to believe they are knockoff pumps put in Carter boxes. I messaged this company and received zero response the only reason Iām giving it a 2 star is because it worked for 2 years but a mechanical fuel pump should last for 20 yrs

I had to replace the original fuel pump on my 3.7LX MCM. I was having issues underload and at high speeds with hesitation. This pump solved all those problems!

if you have an older mercruiser marine engine with this type of fuel pump, this is the one you need, carter low pressure, this is the marine version, made in USA not the chinese after market ones the marina`s charge you 3-400$`s for

Installed this pump on my boat and has performed well for a few months now with no issues. Unit looks very well built and sturdy. Fits block and existing fuel lines perfectly.

I looked everywhere for a pump and all were between $200 and $300 for a marine pump! I just kept searching out the local autoparts houses crossing numbers and found one for just under a $100! Put it on and it lasted exactly 15 minutes and blew apartinside!!! Returned the pump and looked on Amazon and found an exact replacement for about $80.00. Still running well andno problems so far. It was an exact fit and works very well. I am totally satisfied!! I will remember to look on Amazon firstfrom now on for all my parts!Bob D. Bel Air, Maryland
