I brought this believing it was a 6s as it states it’s capable. It’s only a 2-3s. Returned the first one right away when I noticed the wiring was ruff welded. Got a replacement only to find out it doesn’t support 6s. Return it and here still waiting for refund from Amazon cause castle didn’t honor my return. Just a heads up everybody

Castle is one of the best in the hobby. An American company, too. If you purchase this combo you do not need to buy the Castle Link separately. These included a coupon code for a free one. I wish I would read that before buying one, but oh well. My fault.Anyway, the motor is buttery smooth and absolutely shreds. The ESC makes some crazy sounds but it is a night and day improvement over the stock ESC.

Great price! My only complaint is the description could provide a good description as far as Shaft dimensions(5mm). I was now must order a new set of pinion gears that are a 5mm bore. No biggie but that would have saved me a lot of time. Other than that thanks for the quick delivery!

This combo on the Slash 2wd is insane. Without the Traxxas Stability Control anytime I would go full throttle my truck would become a wicked donut machine. But with the TSC ot what ever it's called my truck was very very fast. Will buy another set for my Rustler 4x4 project!

Shipping was incredibly fast. The product is as advertised. Installed on the basic Traxxas Rustler 4x4. Make sure you use the original screws on the motor plate (not the castle ones) and order yourself an ECS cage plate. Friendly reminder the motor is a 5mm diameter shaft.

Castle and Hobbywing are my two favorite esc/motor choices for my RC’s. Put this on a Traxxas Slash 4x4 and it rips on 6s. I usually do not go above 4s. I suggest that you get one.
