This cat litter mat is pretty good at collecting litter. It's easy to clean. The raised edges offer minimal help with tracking. In the center, the edges are tapered to an open gap to make pouring litter easier. It works alright, although it's not perfect. The "honeycomb" style mats seem to trap more litter, although they're harder to clean.

I love that it folds to get the litter off easily and store. It’s a pretty good size and fits in the space good. Because I have it under a box I can pick it up easily, so I use the vacuum to to clean it. When I use the floor attachment it tears the mat a little, instead I use the wand/corner attachment. I don’t like is that it made of foam and when it gets poked/torn then peed can easily get in it.

These are two very thick pressed foam litter mats with a very large sized treads. I put these under my Booda domes, which already had litter mats in place. However, the mats that I had, while I do like them, and they certainly weren't cheap, were not meeting all of my needs while in use. My bathroom mat is made of food grade silicone, and has very thin treads - high quality and works awesome, but it is devlish to clean. So with the thick treads, I thought it would be way easier to keep clean. And it surely is! It isn't as awesome at keeping all the litter that escapes the box in place on the mat, but here is the thing: since it is way, way easier to clean, I simply sweep or swab up the cat litter grains as soon as I see them, and it's more than sufficient. As for the mat in the bedroom, I have a very cute pink and grey velour mat with an adorable graphic of lounging kittens on it. What isn't so adorable is that the grains easily roll right off the mat. But I love that thing - not getting rid of it. So, I wanted something underneath it that would contain the bits of litter so that I can sweep them up, rather than needing to vacuum that area daily. The foam mat underneath works like a charm!I haven't seen anything like these mats in the pet stores near me, but I really like them. I don't know what materials they are constructed from, and I do hope it is safe. I like food grade silicone for most pet things, because it's healthier, doesn't off gas any fumes and tends to hold up for a really long time if you treat it carefully. But the downside for silicone in litter mats, especially if you use clay litter like I do, is that it is somewhat difficult to keep clean. The pressed foam is great for that, as the clay litter doesn't stick to it, yet the raised edges does a decent enough job of keeping the litter contained within the mat. I have no idea how these two pressed foam mats will hold up. If they last a year, I would consider them worth the list price. Hopefully they would last longer than that, but who knows? So far, so good.These mats are a good value, are very sturdy, and can likely be used for a number of different applications. Not to be Seussian, but, if you have only one cat, and need only need one mat, don't worry, as you could use the second mat for many different things, for example, as floor mats near your workout equipment, or your washer and dryer. Highly recommended!

I want to first start this review by saying I received this item for free but that this does not affect my review or opinion of the item.These litter mats by Kaxionage have been a great addition to our cats litter box areas. After a month of use with our two cats and their two litter boxes, I'm happy to say they have worked great in keeping the litter mess to a minimum. The mats are great at catching litter, especially from our cat who likes to make a quick side exit from the litter box. I've noticed a considerable difference in the amount of litter scattered around the boxes. Even better, these mats have saved our floors from cat urine! The same cat that likes to side-exit occasionally misses the mark, but the mat effectively contains the urine, preventing it from soaking into the floor. Cleaning is relatively easy, although some litter can get stuck on the mat.Overall, the Kaxionage Cat Litter Mats with Grooves are a simple but effective solution for managing litter tracking and protecting your floors. They do exactly what they're supposed to do.
