I bought this antenna as an upgrade to the rubber-ducky antenna on my handheld CB. I go off-roading with a group of people who all have hard-mounted CBs in their vehicles, and my hearability was seriously degraded. This antenna made a night-and-day difference. When I tested it tonight with a friend, I went from breaking up at a few hundred feet away to hearing each other clearly at over 1/2 mile. It mounts securely to my roof, has a nice rubber base that won't scratch, and the cable closes easily in my tailgate without crimping. It was definitely money well spent.

If you want to look like an undercover cop or you just want to talk to your buddies on the old CB Radio then this product is for you and it suits its purpose quite well.

Cannot get SWR below 4. It may not work at all as I never hear anything. The CB has a diag mode and it shows as fail for the antenna. I am going to try and return it.

I Really liked this antenna because of the size , not for DX , I had to trim mine just a little to get my SWR'S down to a 1.3 but no problem . { Be careful to not cut off to much though or you will ruin your antenna }. I Am 100 % satisfied with this antenna it gets the job done , with my radio at 4 watts i get about a 5 mile range so that is pretty good In my opinion . I would buy again . 5 plus stars from me .
