I like it for all the reasons given but no matter how I try, I cannot get it to pair with my Bose Soundlink Color ll speaker. I'm hard of hearing and could really Benefit from this feature.I'll keep trying.

I didn’t really expect much with this, given the price and the plastic construction, but right out of the box it blew me away! Nice little compact unit, and while it is limited in its frequency range it seems like it’s tuned for the human ear. At least I found it pleasing and surprising! I’ve been digging out my old CDs and enjoying my music since it arrived! Worth the money!

The review is for the Leapwell L-CD202 CD Player. Recommend fully charging the CD player 1st. While there is a battery symbol in the display it only indicates a relative charge. When charging, there is an LED next to USB-C charging port. The LED blinks while it is charging. It stops blinking and is a solid on once the Player is fully charged. It will play CDs for better than 4 hrs on a fully charged battery. It comes with a remote control. (Remote requires 2 AAA batteries - not included). It's nice to have a remote so you can adjust volume, Pause, increment or decrement a track, turn On/Off.The speakers sound great. There is no BASS boost. It has plenty of volume in the CD mode. Pairing my Android phone and MP3 player takes a bit of persistence but once paired it happens quicker. Using the CD speakers for phone or MP3 does not provides the same volume as played CDs. Make sure you increase the volume on the phone or MP3. The CD speakers do sound better than the phone or MP3 player. I have paired the CD player with BT speaker. I am not sure I will ever do it because the CD player speaker are so good. There are times I'd like to use BT ear buds but for some reason I am unable to pair the CD to my BT ear buds. I am also unable to BT pair Xmit from CD to phone or MP3. I have contacted Leapwell who responded within a day we a couple of suggestions I found that if you try to connect to ear buds, you need to turn off BT on phone, MP3, etc. I was able to get some open earbuds to pair work in CD mode. It is not easy to pair earbuds.I have not tried the optical output. I have not tried the AUX and AUX mode. The CD Player will play in any orientation. It does not have to lay flat. It even plays upside down.
