Not easy to clean out or empty completely - it always hangs on to a spoonful or so of coffee.I have only had it going for a week so i can't give it a fair rating for durability...Otherwise, seems to work great - it's much quieter than i expected too.

This is meant to grind coffee beans. That's not what I used it for. I used it to make eggshell powder out of cleaned and dried eggshells, to add to the soft food I was feeding my ferret to help him get accustomed to chewing bones. Now, I'm glad to say, he eats whole mice and quails without issue and even enjoys a whole raw eggshell from time to time. I will say that this product worked exactly as I needed it to, so if you need to grind up some cleaned and dried eggshells into a fine powder to add to a meat mixture for your pet ferret, I'd strongly recommend it. The rest of you coffee drinkers, good luck to you.

I bought this to use as a coffee grinder. It is impossible to get a fine grind for the coffee beans

It works just fine. I thought it would be able to grind more beans at a time. This is good if you want to make small brews of coffee. YOu have to grind a little longer than normal, I feel, to get a fine ground coffee. Perhaps the blades need sharpening...
