At C. E. Smith Company, Inc., we design, manufacture and market precision stampings and innovative products for fishing, boating and small trailers. The primary driver of the entire team in our North Carolina based manufacturing facility and distribution center is to provide quality products and service. We manufacture and sell replacement parts for small to mid-size boat trailers including trailer fenders, boat guides, galvanized bracketry, tire carriers, replacement wheel bearings, rubber rollers, roller shafts, U-bolts and other products designed to upgrade and maintain boat trailers. In addition to trailers and parts, we design and produce boating and fishing products in stainless steel, various alloys, and composites. We also manufacture quality rod holders, outrigger hardware, clamps, brackets, and navigation gear.
Guide-Ons
We manufacture and sell a wider range of trailer guide-ons and parts than anyone else in the market today. We offer guide-ons that work with any boat, from fishing boats to cruisers, catamarans to pontoons. Whether you need roller guide-ons, post-style, lighted guide-ons for nighttime, or bunk-style we have a guide-on to fit your needs.
Trailer Parts and Trailer Kits
Our line of trailer parts is second to none. We can provide rollers, fenders, spare tire carriers, hubs in most any size, and bearing kits, so you can easily repair or upgrade your boat trailer. We also have designed and sell complete small boat trailer kits and motor dolly kits that ship direct from our manufacturing facility in North Carolina.
Fishing Accessories
Our in-house design team and manufacturing crew has created a number of extremely useful accessories for the most demanding fishing fanatic. As an example, our rod holders are available in several designs and materials for flawless functionality and durability. All the products in our extensive line of fishing accessories come with the C.E. Smith reputation for intelligent design and quality manufacturing.
Bunk Carpet
When it comes time to replace your worn-out bunk carpet, C.E. Smith’s bunk carpet is thicker than our competition, so it lasts longer, and its substrate is designed to drain quickly to protect the wooden bunk base. We offer several widths and lengths to fit most any trailer bunk.

It lasted three years and four trips to the lake. Broke through and ruined my wake pro jetski hull.I would highly recomend going to a marine shop to buy a higher quality product for probably four times the price but would be worth it.

Cheap enough. I got the 2” and it fit perfect.The factory original lasted maybe 3 years so as long as this lasts that long I’ll be happy. It is rubber not neoprene. There’s always something big or small broken on a boat.2” ones are hard to find in the big box stores.
