So disappointing. First in the product--it simply doesn't work. The piston doesn't function at all. It's basically an expensive fixed mount. You could put an eye hook up for $5 instead. Tried loosening bolts to no avail. They say they carefully inspect every item. I - don't - think - so.Second, contacted Promountings multiple times. Said they'd ship a new one. Empty promises. No follow-up. Wasting all my time trying to resolve this and still no functioning mount to work out with.Beware.

only used for a month so far. slight squeaking sound from the plastic at the connection point. feels sturdy. since i have never installed a punching bag before i can't compare it to anything. but the metal mount looks strong enough to handle the 100 lb ringside bag.

Awsome mount, really works well installed under my garage support beam and the noise doesnt travel between floors when in use...my only problem is that it didnt come with yellow extensions or swivel ring or chain hardware that is shown in product pictures

If you plan on mounting a heavy bag, STOP and look no further! Mounted my outslayer Muay thai bag in my garage and it performs perfectly. easy to install and lives up to the claims. doesn't shake the garage or make noise during training.

Really well made and finished , came with lag bolts and washers . Really easy to install . Hung my new 150# bag on it and tried it out , works exactly as advertised . Great product !
