[ITEM]: Cell Phone Laptop Repair Mat, 17.8'' *11.8 '', Premium Heat Resistant 932°F Silicone Soldering Mat, Large Anti Static Magnetic Electronic Repair Work Mat for BGA and Gun Soldering Iron, Workbench[BRAND]: AspireCells[COLOR]: Blue[UPC]: 762736225019I recently received the AspireCells Cell Phone Laptop Repair Mat, and here are my thoughts:[SIZE AND WORKSPACE]:The mat measures approximately 18”W by 11.5”H, providing a generous workspace. While it’s not a blue color I would want to wear, I really appreciate it on the mat easy to spot.[COMPARTMENTS AND ORGANIZATION]:The mat features three small compartments with lids, but they are not very stable and are just “okay.” There are also four sections with magnets behind the silicone to help keep screws and other metal fittings in place. I appreciate the variety of compartment sizes around the workspace, which helps keep things organized and within reach. However, most compartments are fairly shallow, and I wish they were deeper. Some compartments are almost too small to be useful, as they can barely hold more than a screw and are hard to dig items out of.[MAGNETIZATION AND LIDS]:I wish more compartments were magnetized. It would also be nice if there were more compartments with lids, and if the lids utilized magnets for better security.[MEASURING MARKS]:The measuring marks on the mat could be more visible if they were in a different color.[OVERALL IMPRESSION]:Overall, it’s a decent mat. The heat resistance and anti-static properties are appreciated, but I wish more compartments were magnetized and deeper. Despite these minor issues, it’s a useful addition to my workspace.

At the time of this review, this mat lists around $15. It includes closeable storage slots, a ruler, magnetic holding plates and recessed/numbered component cells.Beyond satisfied with the versatility and thickness of silicone here, would give a 6th star if I were able.

Instead of cell phone repair, this silicone mat will be used for working on and repairing model train equipment. The silicone surface reduces the tendency of small parts from sliding around and falling off into never never land. The sheet has many nice features such as multiple parts pockets, three of which are magnetic and three have lids, eleven small holes for placing things like miniature screwdrivers and of course it has a large work area. This will definitely help to keep my work area much neater. Also, to free up work surface space this will be placed on a 26" x 18" aluminum cooking sheet alloying it to be switched out for one for painting or one for fabrication.I recommend this to anyone who works with small fiddly parts.

This repair mat is nice for taking apart things. This a has a lot of places to put small screws and part. that hold items so you will know where it is. The silicone mat is nice at not getting burned easy. It looks and feel nice. This is a nice mat for doing any project and keeping track of all the screws and parts to reinstall your project. I like this silicone mat for soldering projects.

This mat has compartments that can close, numbered sections for screw order and even several magnets to hold screws or other parts secure.

This really does work great and it comes at a decent price. It can handle a lot of heat and the magnetic portions and ridges of this really help out for placing small screws. I would recomend this product.

Nicely molded silicone mat for protecting your work bench or tabletop when repairing any small mechanical or electrical device. Plenty of little pockets to keep track of small parts and even some small tools. There are four magnetic areas on the mat to help secure small ferrous metal items. It is a little difficult to see the lettering, numbering and scale on the mat unless lighting is just right since the markings are not highlighted as I wish they were.
