Includes everything you need to install and operate. Fairly easy installation. I will update this review after I have had it in operation on the road for a while.

Item arrived Opened, and not New, but instead was a used device. I noticed right off the bat there was sharpie marker handwriting on the device, and the zip ties were all cut off of the coax cable within. I'm guessing this was a returned item that was resold?That aside, I proceeded with testing the device out. I connected it up as per the instructions (easy to follow mind you) and aimed the Yagi directional antenna directly at the direction of my nearest cell tower. I did see the lights turn from red to green, indicating it was getting and amplifying a signal, and I did some speed tests on my phone. Results were a decent improvement overall... 400-500Mbit became 750Mbit download speed over 5g. In addition, I went from 3-bars of service to a full 5 bars. Overall if it wasn't for the fact it was previously used and/or a returned item, It's a solid booster and a overall good value.

So, I used the Signal Advisor app to find the best way to point the directional antenna. I only have one or two bars at the house normally, which switches between LTE and 5G. But just up the street I always get 5G. That is at the top of a very small hill.After installing everything, and putting the receiver about 30 feet above the ground, it looks like I get “more bars”, but the service is still LTE in the house , and the speed test is not showing more speed. So at this point I can’t tell whether it is actually doing anything. I will keep messing around with it, and if anything changes I will update this.

I received a returned item… open box with a used device in it.And I admit defeat as well to find any value in this device. After reading the manual, setting it up, and finding no change in service, I subsequently spent hours on google reading and checking this and checking that and watching related videos to finally come to the conclusion it’s not working for me either.

Due to weather issues the installation of this signal booster was delayed and these test results are preliminary based on a temporary installation.That being said, this signal booster does in fact work. I held no notions that I would see a marked improvement but I did see some.I live in a rural area that for the most part has moderate to poor cell quality in the house.I did a temporary installation/test of this cell booster and after getting all the necessary pieces of information for the app and pointing of the outdoor antenna. I was able to run a few speed tests using various iOS apps.Net result was an increase in signal strength and speeds.Not a great difference but there was an increase.See attached images. There was single bar of signal increase and a bit more DL speed and a bit less packet loss.I will say the unit does work, is it worth the time and effort, possibly it is. I hope to get the outdoor antenna mounted higher up to see if there is any more improvement.Here is how I rate items:5 Stars = Exceeds all expectations, A definite buy! (Very Rare)4 Stars = Very good find, you should definitely give it a shot.3 Stars = It works and functions as advertised.2 Stars = A little scary, possibly OK, it may work out.1 Stars = Avoid this product, not worth the effort.

Expectations were mixed upon ordering given the other reviews, but it worked for me. Required a little thought as to antenna placement but installation ended up being pretty easy due to the flat cable that will run thru a window instead of drilling a hole in your wall. It ended up being even easier to me as I kind of tried a trial set up, assembling everything at my desk, next to my computer, gateway and everything else, including a bay window where I initially set the antenna. I was surprised, that was good enough, never had to mount it outdoors it picked up the signal and amplified it. But, I didn't have the absolute worst reception to begin with as over the years, I have migrated carriers to improve the problem and the best was Verizon Network plus Comcast Wifi. But Sprint/TMobile/At&t all had the same issues of signal drop as I live in a low area next to a state nature preserve where the carriers figure there aren't many subscribers to keep happy. I would initiate a call Ok but then it would drop in and out depending upon where I would stand in the house. I remember when building the house, the workers all had push to talk phones and had to walk to the end of the driveway to talk. I still had occasional drops with my current VerizonComcast combination when phone would switch between the two and this has eliminated that problem. My reception is better but I did have signal before it just faded in and out, almost like when the wind moved the tree branches in the woods next door. I'm sure if I had mounted the antenna up on my roof the results would be even more impressive, but if it works where it is, why go to the trouble?

For the record, this isn't the best cell booster I've used, but it does the job reasonably well, and given the cost, it's actually quite a bargain.Antenna placement is critical with a cell booster. Both antennas need to be located as far away from one another as possible, with the "outside" antenna located as high up and pointed as directly at the cell tower as possible. You really want to max out the included cable lengths, if you at all can.It helped eliminate a "dead zone" I have in my house for some reason, despite not being far from a cell tower at all. Got me from 1-2 bars (depending on where I stand) to 3-4 bars pretty much all over, which is a good improvement for me. Setup and installation is pretty easy, routing cables being the most laborious part. In all, for a price of just a hair over a hundred bucks, it's tough to go wrong here. 4 stars.
