I needed a longer pin for my GX 550, for which this fits, but wanted them to share the same key. Plus, the trailer keyhole is not covered. I found a slightly shorter different brand that met my requirements.

I wanted both to work but the hitch lock was to short for hole but the o ring fit perfect on the old one I had and works great. And the reese hitch was perfect so I kept them. Easy to fit ,well built ,and price was amazing.

Hitch pin isn’t long enough for a standard latch. Pretty sure even if it was I could take a hammer and pound it off in seconds.Otherwise a great project!
