Product Description

The destructive power of thundering is extremely large. It is not enough to rely on external thundering protection ( thundering rod). Thundering waves will indirectly or indirectly (through electromagnetic induction) invade electrical passages and metal passages (such as power cables, signal cables, antenna feeders and metal pipes). The resulting thundering overvoltage and surge voltage will cause great harm to electrical equipment, and information network systems. If the cables is damaged, the equipment will be damaged and the system will be paralyzed, resulting in an incalculable loss.

Rapidly changing thundering currents induce high voltages on electrical loops and twin-wires that can damage the insulation of the system. Various operations of the power system can generate operating overvoltage on the power cable.Some electrical equipment switching operations and short circuit trips can generate overvoltage (surge voltage) higher than the normal working voltage in the power cable, thereby causing damage to the electrical equipment.

Network Surge Protector has a lower limiting voltage to protect against damage from inductive thundering strikes or other surges and overvoltages to protected equipment.
How I installed the ST-RJ45:
1.The input of Network Surge Protector is connected to the external signal cable.
2.The output of the Network Surge Protector is connected to the signal input of the protected device.
3.Connect the green ground wire to the ground. Note:
Please install surge protector within 1 meter from device protected.
