1. Safety first
Park your vehicle on a flat, sometimes the old filter can be pretty dirty, so you may want to wear safety gloves and goggles, and even put a covering down on your passenger side floor mat. This is in case dust or debris fall out when removing the old filter.
2. Get to the filter
Open and, often times, remove the glove box to access the cabin air filter. The owner's manual should have detailed information on removal. This may require a screwdriver, or simply pressing down on a tab or two.
3. Remove old cabin air filter
Remove the old cabin air filter and any debris. Note the placement of the old filter. You may want to vacuum the area.
4. Install the new filter
Install the new filter and the glove box. Then enjoy the fresh air in your car.

The old filters doesn't have a plastic frame so this was a squeeze to get in but it does just fit.Works as intended.

I ordered this for a 2014 Silverado and I’m not sure it fits right. There are tiny gaps on the sides- maybe that’s ok I’m not sure. It was super hard to install too because it’s so rigid that there’s not enough flexibility to get it in it’s spot.But it looks super well-made and very nice! I’m guessing it’ll work no problem! I probably won’t order this one again but try a different, more flexible one.

So I’ve been wanting to change out my cabin air filter for some time now and I seen this one scrolling through Amazon and I love it. Tested it out as soon as I installed it and hasn’t given me any problems ever since. I definitely feel more fresh air now.
