Injured my back which made putting on shoes tough. Purchased this to see if it helped. It works very well with both dress shoes and sneakers. Great price for something I will only need a few months, but well worth it.

We live in a household where shoes are not allowed in the house, so they are left at the front door by ourselves and our guests. This shoe horn is nice and long which makes it easy for people to put their shoes on without having to crouch down or bend over. The texture is nice and smooth, so feet slide easily into the shoes. We don't use some of the other features, but as a shoe horn, it does its job well.

Recently I got a couple different pairs of shoes / boots that have a small opening for my foot to go in for putting them on my feet. The one pair especially was a struggle. That is when I decided I need a shoe horn, lol. This one is really nice because it is so flexible for what length you would need. Mostly I am always seated when putting my shoes on, so I really do not need the extra length, but it is good to have just in case. The clothing assistance hook on the other end of it may be useful for me in the not so distant future as I am 60+ years old and who knows how long I will remain flexibly agile! Currently I do not need it. I did get the back scratcher attachment and that is a help, so that is what is on the other end of mine for now!The shoehorn is made of plastic, but it is thick and sturdy. The threads for screwing the sections / pieces together are solid and thick also. I like that this is so versatile with sizing and attachments. It is super simple to assemble.I'm recommending this shoehorn, clothing helper, and back scratcher all-in-one tool. It is well designed and made. Also quite adaptable to one's personal needs.

Works great! bonus back scratcher! :) I have a few pairs of boots that are a bit of a struggle. I can't believe I waited this long to get a shoe horn. I am not a senior, but I do periodically have issues with my lower back. It's affordable and nice to have this around.

This review is for the "CHADWICK 2 In 1 Long Shoe Horn For Seniors." I'm not sure why this is listed "for seniors" as everyone can have shoes that need shoehorn assistance. This is demonstrated by the listing pictures of shoes. I like this shoe horn with the back scratcher attachment just for the extra functionality. The shoe horn attachment is narrow (1.5" wide) so will fit in a variety of smaller sized shoes. The back scratcher piece is fine and there is a handle for each piece instead of assembling the whole thing as one piece. I do not have bad shoulders so I don't need the clothing assistance piece. The product itself has scuff marks that detract from it looking like a new item but that is probably because the pieces are shipped loose in a plastic bag.

I have a bad lower back and needed a long shoe horn to make putting on boots easier. This works great. The handle is the perfect length and the horn seems to be very sturdy.

Most importantly - this shoehorn is sturdy and a good fit for sliding my feet into my shoes. For that reason alone - it is worth buying. The S-hook is convenient for hanging the shoe horn on a door handle or closet bar.The three piece shaft means this is nicely adaptable. For me, using two of the sections provides the best fit and length. I put the back scratcher on the third shaft piece so I get two good devices. This is a simple, utilitarian device. Not elegant like some shoehorns, but very functional and a reasonable price.

I primarily use this as a backscratcher now since I have a long metal shoehorn. I choose to use it as a backscratcher since I do not have another. I have had others in the past that I found easier to manipulate since they had a flat handle so I could properly align the scratching face with my back. I find that I have the edge of the scratching portion turned and have a little trouble getting the angle right because the end that I hold does not have the flat part aligned. If I had a flat handle, I would know that it would need to be parallel to my back (this is more difficult to get just right without some type of feedback that is reliable especially when wearing a thicker shirt).I have not used the hook section, and really have no use for it.I was surprised at how well the assembled tool stayed together. The shaft did not rotate too easily from the tool at the end. Due to this, I could recommend it for someone who would like to have some space efficiency.
