I received this product in exchange for an honest review through the amazon vine program.I love the look of this beautiful chafing dish buffet, it gives a touch of elegance to any dinner party. I give large dinner parties 3 times a year. It's easy to use and easy to clean. I have an older model that uses screws, and is wobbly, though assembly is not hard, this model is so much better because it's easier to assemble. No screws are required, and is very sturdy. My older model also has a handle that does not fold down. This model the handle folds down for easy storage. You can use this for cold or hot foods. If you are going to use it to keep the food temperature cold, use ice in the water pan, if you want to keep the food temperature warm, then add hot water to the water pan. The fuel holder pans come with covers to control the flame or to turn off the flame.I love how the stainless steel looks against the gold handle, it's so beautifully elegant. The rolled edge design is also better than my old one because this chafing buffet dish is easier to handle while cleaning. There is no chance of cutting your hands or fingers. This is a quality item that will last a lifetime.I would pay the retail price to order this.

This is by far one of the best chafing dishing set for buffet I have ever used. The dish set is constructed from stainless steel and the sleek finish with the rolled-edge design gave it a high-end look that fit right in with our party buffet setup. It kept our food warm for hours without drying it out, and the 9-quart capacity was perfect for serving my crowd.Setting this up is simple, added warm water to the dish and then added fuel can to keep the food warm. The dish set is sturdy, no wobbling or flimsy parts.I also appreciated how easy it was to clean afterward.Whether you're hosting a party, wedding, or holiday dinner, this chafing dish adds both style and function. Definitely worth it.

I used these chafing dishes at home for a large dinner I organized for about 15 people, simulating a wedding-style buffet. I wanted to test their capacity and functionality, and I was very pleased. I was able to keep rice, roasted chicken, and vegetables warm all evening without them drying out or losing heat. The assembly was surprisingly easy—no screws required, and the included manual was clear. After the event, I was able to stack and store everything without taking up too much space, which is crucial for those of us without an industrial kitchen at home. The stainless steel feels solid and thick, unlike lightweight models that can bend with minimal pressure. I also appreciated the rolled-edge design, which allowed me to handle the dishes without worrying about cutting my hands when lifting the lids. One thing to note: the areas near the fuel burners can get quite hot, so I recommend using kitchen mitts when serving.I also tested using ice in the lower pan to keep salads cold, and it worked perfectly. So I can say this set is not only great for big events like weddings or birthdays but also for brunches, family gatherings, or any occasion where you want to keep food hot or cold with an elegant touch.

The chafing dish is larger than I expected. It was trivial to assemble, since there are no screws.I really like that it comes with two sets of food trays - 1 large one, and 2 half-sized ones (to be used together). All of the trays and lids are quite sturdy, showing no flex, and have a rolled edge, so they're not sharp.Adding the recommended 4.5 litres of water fills the water tub to the bottom of the food trays.I added 4.5L of hot tap water, and filled both burners with liquid fondue fuel. The written instructions didn't say what type of fuel to use, and I only discovered later that the product images show using a gel fuel can or alcohol blocks in the burner pots. Filling the burners with liquid fondue fuel worked fine though.I really didn't like that the little handles on the burner pots are very flimsy - do not attempt to pick up the burner pot via the handle when it's hot, or at all if you've used a liquid fuel - they're simply not strong enough to support the weight, and the results might be disastrous. I had to deduct a point for this. After lighting the burners, I added a double-batch of freshly made Waikiki meatballs to one of the half-sized food containers, leaving the other half empty. Both burners together produce enough heat to keep the water at just below the boiling point! I turned off one of the burners, and found the the entire water bath still maintained that temperature.I left my food in the chafing dish for more than 5 hours, with just one burner lit. The evaporating water keeps the food very moist, and it was heated beyond the temperature it was at when I put it into the chafing dish - the food remained _very_ hot. Be aware that the handle on top of the lid can also get very hot, especially if it's laying flat. Also note that the evaporated water condenses heavily on the lid, so when you pick it up, a bunch of water will run off whatever side is lowest. After 5 hours, the water tray was still more than half full, and the burner had used about 2/3 of the liquid fuel I had started with. This chafing dish is a great addition to my pot-luck pool parties!

I was looking for a high-quality chafing dish that would add a touch of luxury to my gatherings. The chafing dish is truly stunning, with a beautiful silver finish that catches the light and adds a level of sophistication to any table setting. The dish is also incredibly easy to clean and maintain. The dish is a smidgen heavy which can make it difficult to move around. It is large and therefore can hold quite a bit. Overall, I highly recommend this product for anyone needing a bit of sophistication as this piece definitely looks high end.

When I hosted a backyard spring BBQ last weekend, I knew I needed something to keep the sides warm without playing a constant game of microwave tag. Enter this 9-quart chafing dish that turned out to be the MVP of the event. We served smoked ribs and grilled corn, but I used the chafing dish to keep my creamy mac and cheese and honey-glazed carrots perfectly warm throughout the afternoon. The setup was a breeze. The stand simply folds open, you pour water into the bottom tray, and then nestle in either the full-size pan or the two smaller trays depending on your menu. I went with the split trays. The gel fuel canisters fit neatly into the base and lit easily. Just be cautious, as these canisters have sharp edges when removing the lids, so handle them with care, much like you would have with pudding cups from decades ago.I loved that the lids have built-in sliders to extinguish the flames when you’re done, and the black finish gave it a surprisingly sleek, modern look against our rustic picnic table.Cleanup was simple. Everything rinsed off easily and the unit folded down for storage without eating up half my pantry. These are not just for the pros or event planners anymore. This made my casual springtime BBQ feel like a catered event. Whether you’re hosting family holidays, brunches, or summer parties, this chafing dish is a smart investment.I’m already planning to use it again for our next taco night... queso, here we come!

This chafing dish set is such a good value. There's no screws or assembly involved. The stand folds open and then you set the trays on top. There is an inside tray which you fill with water (either cold or hot) and then a large dish or 2 smaller dishes that you set inside. The rolled edge design is nice. It comes with canister that you can place your gel fuel canisters into, and they sit in a tray underneath. There are lids that slide over the canisters to put out the flame when you're done. My only small complaint is the canisters for the fuel gels do have some sharp edges, especially when removing the lid. Other than that, no complaints, everything works as expected. These are a great addition for anyone who has parties or needs to serve large amounts of people.

This is a steal. So durable and hefty. They come packed tightly and securely so there isn't any problems or extra space. I'm planning to use these for the holiday dinners. I scratch make everything, which becomes tricky since certain items are ready at different times. How to keep items hot without using the oven since it's already spoken for. Don't pass these up. Also note, don't expect to wait until the day of to put them together. Plan ahead!

We used these for my son’s birthday, we were comfortably able to keep 48 burgers and 48 hot dogs in here. I purchased some disposable fuel canisters rather than opting to use the included reusable ones. The food stayed warm for the party and the trays were a super easy cleanup.I like that it includes 2 different sizes for good trays, one large one or 2 smaller ones. Everything stacks together for easy storage and re-usability. Will be a great tool to have for the future!

PROS:* I like how the pieces mostly nest together, taking up less room.* I like how the black metal base is locked in position once you fit/attach the tray to it that holds the butane cannisters.* I like the large 9 qt capacity!* I really like that you can use the entire pan for one dish, or replace the large pan with two smaller ones for two dishes.* I liked that they are made to hold two butane units rather than one.* I like using this more than electric heating pads - it keeps food much warmer, longer.* I think the pan will do a good job.LIKED LESS:* That it didn't come with the 3 pans that were shown in the ad, and that a link wasn't provided where they could be purchased separately.* How lightweight the pans are. Two were stuck together and even though I worked a long time to carefully pry them apart with a blunt butter knife, I still ended up with indentations in the metal.* How if you invert the lid for storage, you really need to place a cloth or foam pad down to keep the handle from scratching - although I did like that the handle folds down for storage.* No bracket was included for holding the lid behind the warmer, which is a common feature of better chafing dishes.
