I'm a runner, not a cyclist, so your mileage may vary. I got this because my Body Glide is running low, and I needed something to reduce the chafing. This seems to do the trick! The instructions tell you to use generously, so I put this in all my crevices that typically chafe. The weather has been very muggy and humid, as we've gotten a lot of rain the past few weeks. I've used it twice now on 7 mile runs, and I haven't experienced any chafing. My only complaint is because it's a cream, I have to use my hand to get it up in the places I need it, but it seems to work well. I like the convenience of a bar that I can roll on, but at the end of the day, as long as I'm not chafing, I'm content.

This works well while riding the bike trainer to reduce friction. However, unlike since other brands, this does not provide any cooling, so muscles and skin can get hot.

I hadn't heard of this brand before. I normally use Chamois Butt'r brand in the larger tube for my normal rides and then have some thicker (but pricier) Assos creme for longer or other rides in less favorable conditions. The seems to be somewhere in between the thickness of the Assos (which comes in a jar) and the Chamois Butt's which also comes in a tube. Assos is really thick and you can to scoop it out of the can. I use gloves to put it on but I'm a much bigger fan of the squeeze tube than a tub.The pricing also fits the same Assos, IB, Chamois Butt'r pattern as the Assos is $29 for 200ml, IB is $24 for 200ml and Chamois Butt'r is $18 for 8oz (around 227ml).I did a ride yesterday in cold weather with long bib tights and had no issues during the ride using the IB creme. I'd say it's good quality stuff. The ride was only around 15 miles as it was cold and super windy but I still had some creme left over after I got home. I think I'll keep with my current formula of using the cheaper creme when I can and then break out the good stuff for "special occasions."If you're looking for something a little better quality than entry cremes, this would definitely be a good option that will save you a few dollars over Assos (even though Assos is good stuff too). I don't think you'll regret the purchase if the price is reasonable enough for you.

I most need Chamois cream in warm weather, when I am riding my bicycle over 100 miles per week. Currently it is winter. I am still riding, but significantly less, and with more layers than in the summer. In the past i always used "Chamois Butt'r Original Anti-Chafe Cream", so this tube is something new for me.The directions indicate that the cream should be applied to the chamois. I tried that once with my usual brand, and found that it works better for me to apply it directly to my skin.My first impression of this product is that it is smoother than the other brand. Maybe a bit thicker.I took a 28 mile ride with it, and didn't have any pain, but I wouldn't expect to have pain in this season.I will try it again during the heat of the summer.

I received this item through the Vine program for free but my review is based solely on my own experience and opinions, without outside influences.I was excited to get an opportunity to try this IB chamois cream out, and while it will certainly require some longer term outdoor testing when the weather is better, I'll be putting it through the paces during indoor training rides for the time being. This cream is lighter, thinner than some of the others I've tried, but the application was basic. I'd compare it to your usual lotion, in consistency and spread. The bottle says to apply it to the chamois pad directly, but I prefer to apply directly to the skin. For a 30 mile indoor ride, I experienced no saddle sores, rubbing, chaffing, or discomfort. I'd argue that an indoor test is a pretty hard example since you don't get out of the saddle as much and there tends to be more discomfort in a shorter period of time. So far, I'm pretty confident the IB chamois cream will accomplish the task, but only a longer outdoor ride can truly put it to the test.

I gifted this product to my friend who is an ultra marathon runner. Here’s what he had to say after trying this product on a recent 18 mile training run:The team at iNBIKE really outdid themselves with this chamois cream. As an ultra-runner, there are plenty of chaffing challenges. I’m pretty picky about what I’m willing to slather on my nether-regions. One wrong product decision and my favorite pastime could quickly become my worst nightmare. Have you ever ran 50 trail miles with raw cheeks rubbing together? It puts Chinese water torture to shame.Like many anti-chafe lubricants on the market, some of the main ingredients in this product are water, mineral oil, and cetyl alcohol. But I was very pleasantly surprised to also find natural ingredients such as macadamia, chamomile, aloe, green tea, cinnamon, and marigold flowers. Dang! I felt very fancy rubbing it on. It was a spa-like experience. The product is odor free (bonus!) and is not greasy or goopy. We’re going 5 stars!

This IB Performance Chamois cream is a quality cream. Since it’s winter now, I can’t really try it out but it feels rather thick and slippery. There is no scent at all. It doesn’t say in the description on the website, but the tube notes that it’s paraben free, sulfate free and not tested on animals. My wife and I currently use Enzo’s ButtonHole Chamois Cream and we think this will work just as well.
