This was exactly what I was looking for!I bought an HDX sprayer about a decade ago and I always hated the spray wand. It is tiny! If I wanted to do the cracks between cement slabs I'd have to hunch over and kill my back. I got this wand and had to cut an unthreaded section off the old trigger section. I just used a pipe cutter and used some Teflon tape to make a good seal between the parts. This thing is four times the size of the other one and is super easy to reach cracks in the cement while standing straight. I couldn't be happier!I paired this with a Chapin 6-6000 brass adjustable cone nozzle. Unscrewing it several turns did the trick. Now the fine mist is a nice jet that fills the cracks with ground clear once or twice per year. And, as advertised, I can tighten it back up to make a fan jet for killing dandelions and other weeds in grassy areas with weed killer.If you have an American made sprayer with standard sizes (not metric) don't wait, pull the trigger and get this sucker. Plus, if you do have metric, there are plenty of male/female, female/female, male/male adapters in all combinations to make this work.

I haven't been able to use it yet because it didn't come with a spray tip in spite of the fact that this wand costs as much as the entire tank and sprayer unit. AND.......the spray tip on the wand supplied with the tank sprayer is welded onto the wand and can't be removed, so I had to order it separately. As a MINIMUM Chapin should advise that on their website. I have other older Chapin sprayers. This one was advertised to fit "most Chapin tank sprayers" but it doesn't fit them. Lastly, the wand that comes with the unit is ridiculously short and kills my back.

This is the perfect solution for reach to taller plants, hedges and even short to medium trees.Seriously though, what’s up with Chapin selling an item with no mention of it needing a spray nozzle and also it’s an irregular nozzle size that you need to buy separately, then Chapin doesn’t help one bit in sharing the part number.I wasted time and money trying to figure it out and purchased part # 6-8131 only to find it was not a fit.I called Chapin and the representative told me, on Amazon the correct nozzle is listed incorrectly as 60360, the correct part number is rather 60030.Finally a solution and I asked the Chapin representative, “why does the company choose to make a purchase of an accessory so confusing especially for non-professional Diyer’s.” He said to me, “we never said the nozzle was included with the wand.”A worthwhile accessory but a hassle because Chapin chose to make it so.

Arrived with the plastic wash in the black end of the wand twisted; impossible to straighten or remove. Cannot connect securely to the sprayer hose.

The spray wand fits on the handle fine. You will need to get the spray tips that have a larger thread. It doesn't come with any spray tips and the one that comes with the sprayer originally is too small. This wand saves me from bending over and will adjust easily.

This product was shipped without the spray tip. My son modified it so it now works but quality control must not be very good.

The wand worked well, how ever I would of expected a nozzle with it. That's why I rated it 4. Other than that it was good.
