I got this charcoal starter to use with my smoker, the first thing I like with this charcoal starter is the size, I am able to put quite a bit of the lump charcoal inside of it, the charcoal starter is well ventilated so the lumps heat up fairly fast, I also like the handle design, the handle is in a good position for tilting the starter and dumping out the lumps of charcoal into the smoker, it also has a rather large heat shield just beneath the handle, the starter came with a nice metal scooper and a decent pair of oven mits, overall this is a very nice quality chimney charcoal starter in my opinion, I am very happy with it and for the price I think it's a pretty good value too.

Works great, Enamal holding up, the wooden handle stays cool.The Weber is bigger, but its plastic handle gets quite warm, the surface of stater body is easy damaged and rusty , but Joyagrill stater enameled surface is still very good after it was used, please let it cool naturally, the product will be restored and will be the same as new product，I think it will be used two seasons .it is no problemWhat really makes this shine in comparison to my Weber is the heat shield, enameled body and wooden handle. It's smaller and costs a bit more, but these things praisedAlso, The BBQ gloves is better and cheaper, my husband is very satisfied with product combination and he may not be scolded again during the barbecue.Pls see the picture after the third time using these products. as we often make bbqs quite Makes the process easy, safety and fast

We tried a lot of different things to troubleshoot it, but we never were able to get the fan to turn on. Other than that, the chimney gets the job done. And the oven mitts are nice to have.

I’ve never had a charcoal starter before and didn’t know what I was missing! I can’t believe how much charcoal and lighter fluid I’m able to save because I don’t need to make a huge pile to get it started. I love the wooded handle with the heat shield, they are very stable and don’t have any play in them. If you’ve never had one and are in the market I definitely recommend getting one…you’ll love it!

Fantastically constructed chimney starter that can speed up the charcoal heating process. I really like how the materials seem well designed and high quality. The fact that it comes with a set of grilling gloves is a big plus. Highly recommend getting this item if you're in the market for a chimney starter - some charcoal grills take forever to heat up!

This is taller than expected, but still works fine on the Large BGE. Disappointed though that the blower doesn’t work unless it’s plugged in… it does NOT have a battery to operate/charge.First time replacing the original BGE chimney that’s lasted 10+ years. We’ll see if this one can go that long.

The Chimney will quickly set the charcoals on fire. Its wood handle will resist the heat, but wear heat-resistant gloves because it will eventually get too hot to handle. I Love the large shovel that came with the chimney. My only complaint is, I wish the Chimney would hold more charcoal, but overall I am very happy with this product.
