The skates are defective. The plastic allows them to bend and the wheels to spin. I ended up With a broken ankle.

These skates worked out very well. They do run a little tight due to all the padding I suggest going a full size bigger we guessed and went a 1/2 size and all though they fit they are snug a whole size up would of been perfect
