Doesn’t cut very well.

It feels too small and cut cheese falls everywhere, it doesn't have enough space.

I had purchased a couple of cheese slicers in the past that use the replaceable wire. They work well until the wire eventually breaks. Once you replace the wire, the life of the second, then third, etc. seems to get much shorter with each replacement. So far, this heavier-duty option seems to be a much better product. The stronger blade does a nice job with the harder cheeses, but can get a bit messy with softer varieties. Cleaning is easier though, as the blade - since it has a bit of heft - can be wiped clean easier, in my opinion.I think the key is to cut slowly and apply a bit of pressure on the blade with a finger (top side) to give it a bit of support. I like this style as I think it helps lower the pressure on each of the two ends that hold the blade in place. I think I learned this from the wire product, and I am not sure if it really needed with this. It is more of a peace-of-mind kind of thing!Anyway, good product with a much better design for longer life.

This cheese cutter is well made. Far superior to cheese knives with wire. It has a real blade that works perfectly and doesn't stretch and break like the wire knives I've used before. It is light weight and very sturdy. The blade is sharp and cuts perfect cheese every time. It's also very easy to clean. There are four suction cup bases that you can switch to attach it more securely to the table for you to use it easily.Translated with DeepL.com (free version)
