The TORQX is the dual action polisher of choice for any beginner, hardcore enthusiast, or professional detailer looking for one simple, lightweight, and powerful machine that can do it all. With the TORQX, anyone can polish paint, remove swirls and scratches, spread wax and sealant, scrub carpet, clean and restore clarity to headlights, and more. The powerful 700 watt motor, 8mm dual action orbital throw, and compact design deliver powerful and consistent polishing, paint correction, and cleaning results with minimal fatigue and wear on the user.
How To Use It:
1. Shake well and apply 4-5 drops to desired pad.
2. Prime pad with Pad Conditioner. Dab product out evenly across 2' x 2' section.
3. Turn on machine on paint to speed setting 1 to spread product.
4. Increase speed to 5-6 and using moderate pressure, work area in 2-3 passes until product becomes clear.
5. Follow with light pressure to finish.
6. Remove residue with a clean microfiber towel.
7. Please Note: Always try a test spot before use.

After watching many videos I am happy with this. Great products. Me the “wife” did the whole bronco. When we bought this it had scratches and swirl marks all over it. 😤 It looks so much better now.

Marking down star because it has NO pads to start with. Seriously?This is my first time using a polisher. I'm a jack of all trades with concentration in woodworking. Needless to say, I know my way around tools. This seemed intuitive. It honestly wasn't that difficult to set-up or get used to.It works well with polish. I haven't used compound yet. I've removed several lights scratches with amazement on my part. Follow the tutorials, don't overdue it and have fun fixing your ride.

I tried taking before and after pictures. They just do not do it justice!!! Worth every penny!!! My SUV is 14 years old. It's not beat up by any means but has been used. I had a temporary tarp carport that did It's job, initially. The wind got a hold of it and did a number on the paint job. The front and back looked hazy from the beating it took. I started with a small area in the back and worked my way through each compound. When I finished (before waxing) I could not believe how good the paint job looked!!!!!! There are a couple places with scratches that are almost undetectable now. In my case, it took a little time to work through the four compounds but the results were absolutely worth it. The smell of the polishing pad lubricant was pleasant. The polishing pad cleaner REALLY good. It didn't take much to get the pads looking brand new. I was worried, especially with the white pad. It's bright white again!I am a Chemical Guys Fan!! One reason I took a chance on this detailing kit was how well their carpet and upholstery cleaner worked. I had some stains where other products did nothing. Not the Chemical Guys! Took the stain out!!!

I used to hate polishing vehicles with my old polisher, but the Chemical Guys Torque is smooth as butter and a blast to operate. Nice solid piece of machinery.

Orded this kit as it was unavailable on there site. received and the conditioner bottle was empty.Contacted them and got zero support or help will never purchase there stuff again Make the switch to ADAMS products instead give them a try .Very poor customer service!!!!

After hesitating for years and tons of research I finally bought this polisher.Kit came as advertised, easy to set up and start using. Chemical Guys provide lots of tutorials and instructions.I was very impressed and thoroughly satisfied with the polisher. The results removing the swirls on my car were amazing. Improvements on the paint were immediate and so satisfying. The polisher is not too heavy, speed settings are good, the velcro attachments held solidly, the pads are top quality and the VSS swirl remover worked remarkably well. I finished off with Chemical guys Black Pearl and Jet seal. It looks like a professional job. This car is now 1000% better looking than when I picked it up new. ( I won't rant about my terrible experience picking up my new car that came with swirls, dirty mats etc. The stealerships did such a poor job of PDI and prep - it was just discusting ) Now it looks like it should have! Every hour, I go out to look at how beautiful the car looks. Chemical Guys are my go to car detaining company.

So far I’ve only applied a layer of butter wet wax with the orbital but it definitely made a difference. This is my first orbital polisher but I’m definitely glad I purchased this particular one. The towels that come with it are great and the lubricant is a must have for removing swirl marks and paint correction. The citrus pad cleaner is a nice touch as well, it makes the pads near new with a bit of warm water.I always do a ton of research before a make a big purchase. This definitely wasn’t the cheapest kit I found but I felt it was the most bang for my buck. It has a good warranty and it also feels well built. It has plenty of weight to it so you don’t have to use elbow grease to push down, just let the weight of the machine do the work.Nothing beats a random orbital sander, especially for a beginner such as myself. You really can’t damage your paint with this buffer unless you left it in one spot for several minutes but why would you do such a thing anyway.I do highly recommend this product.

This is a great polisher, but I primarily used it as a sander to sand surfboards. I have used and abused this tool, on a daily basis, for the last 3 years, and it has held up great. The Torq feels good in your hands. It's smooth, powerful, and lightweight. Much nicer than the PC in my opinion. I did have to replace the double bearing spindle once, and the rear motor bearing twice, but as hard as I used this tool, that was to be expected. I would average 6 hrs daily of continuous use. The only issue I had with Torq, was that I couldn't find parts anywhere. Fortunately, after doing some research, I found that the bearings are the same bearings used on the Porter Cable random orbit sander/polisher, and you can find those parts online. Well, my trusty Torq polisher finally took it's last orbit today. I took it apart to do some maintenance, and accidentally pulled off the wires that run to the brush ports. I figured it has paid for itself and has helped make me money. We had a good run together, but it's time to get a freshy, and keep this one for parts. Bottom line is, it's a well made tool. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a random orbital polisher/sander.
