I have owned a Griot's Garage polisher in the past and this one works juat as well and has the same build quality. The power switch is sometimes annoying, but it's designed the way it is to prevent accidental powering on.

Im happy with overall quality of this buffer. But the trigger has to be held while changing speed. The moment the trigger is released the speed is lost. The led screen only lights up while trigger is pulled. I Got the job done.

Definitely has good action and doesn't power down when you lean on it. However, this thing gets HOT! Wear work gloves or mechanics gloves. After you click the power off a few times you will get used to holding it. The pads that come with it fall apart, get some pads when you purchase it.
