The cover is very heavy and is not great that the keyboard does not have a key pad. To be able to fully transform this ipad into a desktop - one has to purchase a separate mouse.

Good quality basic keyboard and cover for the iPad. Basic color and nothing fancy about this. The keyboard did connect easily and feels pretty good to type on for short or quick tasks. Fit is secure and I like that there is a slot to keep the pencil when not in use. Thumbs up.

This is a great cover. I has a slot for my iPad pen. I’m currently typing on the small magnetic keyboard that also came with this coverIt makes for a great laptop. Setup when you need it.It does take a while to get used to the extra small keyboard but after a while you get used to itThe cover keeps the iPad protected. There is a hole for the camera.I’m just very pleased with this cover/keyboard

This cover fits my iPad 12.9 perfectly! It definitely feels very sturdy, and the keyboard makes typing very convienient.Keyboard: The keyboard attaches to the case magnetically. The hold is secure, yet not hard at all to detach. One of the video reviews said there's not a place for the keyboard when you transport it, but that's not true. The keyboard has tiny plastic bumpers in each corner, and can be laid face down on the iPad. The bumpers prevent any damage to the display or the keyboard itself. The cover can then be closed up on the keypad and the iPad. It's very secure and I never felt like the case would come undone or that the keyboard would fall out. I've had 2 other bluetooth keyboards that I stopped using because it felt like my fingers were cramped so I kept hitting the wrong keys. This keyboard feels fine, with full-sized keys that have large letters, so I can type in low light conditions without a backlight, but the manufacturer does have a backlight version available.Charging and Connecting: The keyboard took about 1.5 hrs to charge as mentioned in the instructions. Once fully charged, the red blinking charge light turns off (this light will turn blue if your keyboard battery runs low). You then turn the keyboard on and press the "Connect" button, which blinks blue. Go to bluetooth settings in your iPad and select the keyboard to finish connecting. Easy-peasy! I haven't had the battery run out yet, so I don't know how long it lasts on a full charge, but I've only had the keyboard on maybe about 4 hrs total.Pencil slot: The pencil slot fits an iPencil, but not if it has a sleeve on it. I have a rubbery sleeve on mine, so I keep it attached at the top where it stays charged. Again, the magnet is strong enough that the pencil has never fallen off, unlike my old case where I was constantly losing the pencil.Case: The case is sturdy and has a nice grippy rubbery feel to it, so I don't worry about it slipping out of my hands. The one drawback to all of these strong magnets to hold the keyboard and pencil, is that the case is heavy--or at least heavier than my previous cases. I don't lug my iPad around outside very much, as it mostly stays in my house, so the weight is not a problem for me; however, folks who need to carry it around or in a backpack might feel the difference in weight.Overall, I'm very satisfied with this case and keyboard. It's well made, so I expect it will last a long time!

Overall for the price paid this is definitely a good product. I had the official Apple keyboard case which worked very well, but over time it started to flake apart and looked really tacky and gross, plus the keyboard eventually started to work off and on. This one is a bit bulkier, in an interesting move, it fully wraps around itself with its cover and flap, so it honestly looks more like a portfolio when folded up, and nothing is falling out. They smartly designed the case to accommodate either style of Apple Pencils, but the one critique I have is it was difficult to push out my pencil when I used the molded side to store it. The keyboard is good and mostly accurate, but I have had a few mistrokes as I just didn’t depress the keys fully, am a little more used to mechanical and thinner style keyboards, takes a little bit of force on this one.Connecting the keyboard is super easy, just push them connect button and pair in Bluetooth settings on the iPad, takes under 10 seconds and only needed to do once.I’ve typed this and a few other reviews using this keyboard, so overall it functions very well and is of good quality; I do somewhat still prefer the official Apple keyboard, but did not feel like forking out that kind of money again, and this is an excellent compromise when you factor in it’s cost.Lastly, just want to touch on the case itself again, it is a little heavy, but it also provide substantially more protection as well, nice thick plastic compared to all the other cases I’ve purchased, which don’t feel like they’d do much in terms of real protection.

Keyboard does not stay in place. Magnet strength is weak. Keyboard will not connect to iPad. Would not recommend. Spend a little more money and get something that actually works well. Waste of money.

Well made but I should have listened to reviews, it’s just too heavy for a portable device. I thought people were exaggerating. They aren’t. I do like the apple pen holder and how sturdy it stands though. The keyboard is light and works well-but isn’t connected to the case in any way which is strange. I would not purchase this again.
