This scooper has some features I LOVE. The handle is incredible. I love that I can lengthen it or shorten it depending on the area if the coop I am cleaning. The rake portion is perfectly sized for my nesting boxes. Everything about it is durrable. Now for the things that could use improment. The rake does not function well in larger or fresher shavings. Just hard to scoop through without any "rake like" feature at the end. Would be fantastic for sand, but isn't as good for shavings and straw. It works well to clean up after my rabbits, clean up the nestings boxes, and to scrape out under the roosting boards.

This products pictures give a gross exaggeration of it's size and functionality. It does assemble easily and works for small jobs. I use it to clean the bedding of our 8 chicken coop. It works well enough as the coop is elevated and the size (barely) reaches all the way to the back of the coop. Doing anything but small tasks such as this are simply not possible. I know the images show it as perfect for these industrial level agricultural jobs and it simply isn't. You will not be able to clean out a horse stall, rake up autumn leaves or shovel hay for feeding cattle without doubling the time of the task. It does a good job, it cleans up easily and it can be assembled and disassembled quickly. I just think it would be much better to just show what it is instead of trying to make it something bigger and better.

This is a waste of money. The poop falls out the side and the head keeps loosening as well as the locks. So when I push it to scoop it collapses

The scoop works really great. It’s lightweight and was super easy to put together out of the box. It’s been a really nice thing to have while cleaning out the coop. It rinsesoff pretty easy to.

Strong, seems more durable than a previous version I have. I like the telescoping handle. The head is big enough to make quick work of our current coop 5'x8' and small enough I can use it through the door on the smaller manufacturer coop I now use as a brooder. Once we upgrade our coops though I think I would want a much larger scooping head.Easy to use. Zero complaints.

I didn't take the time to look at the measurements, and was disappointed to discover that this isn't tremendously long. This is a good reason to remember not to be tricked by clever photography! As of photographer myself, that's a shame on me! But I did order this when I was rather tired.I don't have it near me at the moment, but it was probably something around 27 or 28". I suppose that's not a problem if you're not very tall, but everybody in my family is 5'8" and taller! The measurement on the scooper area is probably about 12 to 14 inches wide. And that may be generous and remembering how wide it is for memory. I got it to do scooping up doggy droppings.... Then maybe chicken drop ins... But mostly my family's grumbled about how it's going to be ineffective. They haven't actually tried it, and I've been helping my daughter who just had surgery, so if I find it works amazingly, I'll come back and let you know.I think it will probably work just fine for the doggy scooping... But the size of it probably makes it look less than interesting to my 5'9 inch to 6 ft 2 in bunch!Quality wise, I do feel that it's going to be effective. It feels strong enough on the extending handle. Aside from the fact that it doesn't extend tremendously far, it does feel like it's sturdy enough. And the basket that comes with it also feels equally sturdy. It's not soft like a tin can, but it's just not as large and sturdy looking as I expected. It's hard enough to vacuum with a handle that's too short, don't get me started on what it's like to work in the yard with a handle that's too short! That poses an even greater challenge... Especially for those of us with arthritis. I would really encourage this company to add another section of pole!

Efficient but Size Misleading in PhotosThis chicken poop scooper is an efficient tool that gets the job done. It’s lightweight and built from sturdy materials with an anti-rust coating, which gives it a reliable feel. The 42-inch extendable handle is a huge plus—it allows me to clean the chicken coop without bending down, significantly reducing back strain during use. That said, the photos of the product are misleading. The size appears much larger in the pictures, and it looks almost twice the size compared to the users shown in the photos. In reality, the scoop is about the same size as a standard dustpan, which I was not expecting based on the images.Despite that, the handle is easy to adjust (from 22” to 42”), and I appreciate how convenient it is for storage due to the detachable design. The scooper itself works well for cleaning the coop and even doubles as a cat litter scoop with two interchangeable shovels of different grid sizes.Overall, it’s a solid product for daily cleaning tasks, but just be aware of the size discrepancy based on the pictures.

I like that this scoop can be shortened so I can easily store it when not in use. It works well, although it seems a little short, not a big deal, but if you have back issues I could see it being a bit uncomfortable to have to bend down slightly while using this, but the length is nice to help avoid hitting walls during use in smaller coops. It's nice and light-weight, so it's not a pain to carry around.I could see the threading connecting the scoop to the handle unscrewing during use, which could get annoying. I may put some rubber cement or something into the hole to keep it in place.
