This animal waste tool is very lightweight to reduce fatigue while cleaning the yard. I have what some would consider a large pack of medium sized dogs to clean up after daily. This tool is easy to use because it has sharp teeth widely set to pick things up in grass or dirt. The handle is easy to squeeze and I’m able to clean up the yard one handed. My only concern is that the handle is plastic, and in my experience, plastic does not hold up long-term. I am hoping this is not the case, but I cannot confirm that at this point. At times this also does not want to open to release the waste. While I appreciate the ease of use, I would prefer a sturdier handle and I do believe at $65, there are better ones out there.

I have tried almost all the scoopers, rakes, and baggies on the market, and this is by far the best! It goes through grass like butter, and picks up every size of poop with no effort. I pick up poop for a living and this scooper is an actual life saver. I use this 8 hours a day scooping hundreds of piles and the efficiency of it is beyond compare. I will never look at another scooper the same way again, I'm never going back.

The Goliath of Scoopers. This is easily the largest pooper scooper that I have ever owned, and I have owned several. Compare this scooper (like Goliath) to my old one (think David – see pix). You could call it a zookeeper’s scooper and not be far wrong. I like the aluminum scoop and pole and spring parts, all rustproof and unlikely to fail as do the typical plastic parts, especially if left out in the sun. The weakest link in the design appears to be the plastic handle and grip, likely included to be easy on the hands, but possibly the first thing to go. I like the design and finishing of this product, although it might be a bit too much for small dogs. As such I rate this scooper 5*.

I like the tall size of the scooper, and the easy squeeze handle. Easy to use, no setup required. The scooper has a wide claw which helps with cleanup and functions well for the task. There is a blue coating on the scooper that you need to peel off prior to use of which I did not know, as I thought it was a protective coating. It was not as it broke down during use. I am a little concerned about how long it will last as the scooper is very light, and the handle gets squeezed a lot. I haven’t had issues with it yet but being so light and getting the use it does as I have 5 dogs, I do not expect it to last long. We will see

This scooper really exceeded my expectations. The handle is long enough that I don’t have to bend down, which is a huge relief for my back. It feels sturdy yet lightweight, and the aluminum build seems like it’ll last for years without rusting or weakening. The jaw mechanism is strong and easy to use, gripping waste without making a mess or tearing up the lawn. What really sold me is how well it works on different surfaces—I’ve used it on grass, gravel, and even uneven dirt, and it handled everything with no issue.Overall, it’s a practical, high-quality tool that’s made daily clean-up much less of a chore. Great option for anyone who wants something durable and hassle-free.

Find a Different Scooper. After scooping a poop, the claws frequently stick together (1-start off), and you have to use your hands to open the scooper so it's not east to clean (1-start). The extra-long pole is nice, but that's overshadowed by the need to manually open the claws. Also, the handle must be depressed to keep the scoop closed which might be a problem if you have to walk a distance to deposit the poop (1-star off). At $65, you can find better.

I have 2 dogs, one is 60 lbs and the other is 140 lbs. So you could imagine the amount of poop in my yard once all the snow melted. I used this to pick up the poop and put it in an empty dog food bag. I can say it was easier to not have to bend over. I do feel that it’s just a little bit flimsy but at the same time it’s fine for the poop pick up. It grabs and holds to poop until you release it. I think it will be good to use with a bucket or something. I deducted one star due to the difficulty in cleaning it off. Poop gets packed inside and outside of it, making it hard to clean. It’s not a deal breaker necessarily. My previous poop picker upper was like a rake, which I could wipe off in the grass. This one doesn’t allow that for the inside, but again the reduced strain on your back outweighs it.

As the owner of 4 dogs, I thought this would be awesome. In all fairness, it could just be user error. I'm the user lol. But I keep getting the claw stuck closed on pick up & have to sort of whack it to open again to drop the poop 💩! It seems well built & the handle is plenty long enough to save your back. Im going to keep using it to see if I can't figure out what the problem might be.
