I didn't realize how big it is. It's the size of a serving plate. You can shred a lot if chicken at the same time. My daughter had fun making her shredded kitchen salad cause it felt like a challenge at first. But once she got the hang of it she was shredding away. So easy to use.

I love this product! My parents have one, but it doesn't have a tray, so when I saw this I knew I needed to get it. It makes quick work of shredding chicken and it's easy to clean since it comes with a curved brush. I haven't put it in the dishwasher yet because it didn't say dishwasher safe on the instructions, but it's in the description and heat resistant so I'm sure it'll be okay on the top rack.

We make homemade food for our dogs and we generally boil chicken and use a fork to shred it.I used this for the first time today. It saves a lot of time and makes it was easier than using a fork. The only thing I wish it had the ability to do would be to really stick to the counter- more so than the rubber stoppers on the bottom. Other than that, it's awesome!
