I purchased this solder on the recommendation of writer for a popular model railroad magazine. I could not get the solder to adhere to nickel silver track, LED leads, or fine decoder wire. If it doesn't adhere, you have no value in applying flux in preparation for soldering. Sent it back.

Easy to use. Brush on or just dip wire in it. If you get the solder joint to the proper temperature it mostly evaporates away and leaves only a bit of inert residue behind. Easily cleaned if it bothers you. No sticky mess!
