Anime in general has good background music but this show stands out in that catagory. The show was great all around.

This isn't a soundtrack of the series. Instead, it's a collection of the personal instrumental track for each character, as well as a song sung by each character from the series. All of which are good.

On the Chobits: Character Song Collection CD, Japanese voice actors (seiyuu) sing songs for characters that they voice on the Chobits animation (anime) series. In the US domestic CD release, Geneon has faithfully reproduced the original Japanese CD release from JVC Victor, romanizing and translating the Japanese text into English. The beautiful Chii character song "I hear you everywhere" (Track 1), sung by Chii voice actor Rie Tanaka, is used as an insert song on the 24th and final episode of Chobits. The bubbly Hideki & Chii character song "Love of Babble" / "Katakoto no Koi" (Duet Version) (Track 13), sung by Hideki Motosuwa voice actor Tomokazu Sugita and Chii voice actor Rie Tanaka, is the Chobits third ending theme song (episode 24).

After reading the manga of this adorable series and hearing the opening song I decided to buy the soundtrack. I first bought the OST 1 and was a bit dissapointed by the lack of lyriced songs, so I bought this one. This soundtrack is by far my favorite. The songs are all pretty much easy listening; great for relaxing plane trips for example. Don't get me wrong, it's not boring at all! Anyway, this is an overall great soundtrack and I was very satisfied with it.My favorite tracks were the first one, "I Hear You Everywhere" and the third... The title is in Japanese and I'm not far enough in my studies to translate it... Gah, just buy it!
