I got the 122lb. square base stand. The base is a single molded unit, with a screw-in plug to hold the filler in place (includes the O-ring to seal). And then you slip the umbrella holder through an opening molded through the base and secure it to the bottom. I really like that approach -- easy to attach and remove (when needed), and plenty secure. Plus, it prevents the umbrella from spinning with the wind. You can fill with water (only), sand (only), or a combination of water and sand. The water and sand combo results in the greatest weight, and thus resistance to wind. The umbrella pole accommodates different sized umbrella poles depending on which spacer you include at the opening, and the two hand-screws secure the umbrella in the pole.In use it works pretty nicely. It doesn't take up too much ground space, and it handled my 8 foot (tall) umbrella without any drama. I do live in a seeming wind tunnel, so I will probably go back and convert to the sand/water combo for weight just to better insure it stays put.My two recommendations are: 1) Buy the heavier capacity one if possible, unless you have just a super tiny umbrella; and 2) Wait to fill it until you're really close to its final resting spot, as 122 pounds of dead weight is hard to move very far.Overall, this is a great solution for me.

We constantly have wind so we need heavy umbrella holders. C-Hopetree 122 lb. Heavy Duty Water Fillable Square Base Stand Weight is perfect and. it will hold a couple of different diameter umbrellas. The weight capacity of it is phenomenal. I also appreciate the fact that 2 screws hold the base to the pole so if it loosens, you can tip it on the side and tighten it up. I currently have a different umbrella stand that is totally useless because there is no way to tighten it...is that crazy or what? This checks all the boxes. I am going to wait until we don't have to worry about freezing weather to fill it up with mixture of water and sand. You will have to tip it on its side to fill it up since that is where the cap is located. I thought it was reasonably priced since this is what I paid for lighter weight ones. It will be great not to have to worry about my umbrellas taking off.

This is a well made base to hold your outside umbrella firmly in place. It took only a couple minutes to set up. It was simple enough to add the water while the base was where I needed it to be. No moving around a heavy base which for me was a big plus. It has held the umbrella for a few weeks now and no sign of it moving. I am very happy to have this.

This 122 lb heavy-duty water-fillable base is exactly what I needed to keep my patio umbrella safe and secure—no more worrying about sudden gusts of wind knocking it over! Once filled, it’s incredibly solid and stable, easily handling larger umbrellas without any wobble. I like the double lock design. The black square design is sleek and low-profile, so it blends in nicely with any outdoor decor. I especially appreciate the included mountable pole, which helps to tightly hold and lock the umbrella in place. It gives that extra layer of security that most basic stands don’t offer.Setup was straightforward—just fill it with water (or sand for even more weight), secure the umbrella pole using the mount, and you’re good to go. It hasn’t budged once, even through breezy afternoons. Note that it does not have wheels so pretty much stationary. If you're looking for a reliable, heavy-duty umbrella base that looks great and gives you peace of mind, this is 100% worth it. Solid construction with high density HPDE plastic, easy to use, and does exactly what it’s supposed to—highly recommend!

Great quality, slightly tedious to fill, but worth it. I filled it initially with water only, and that only made for a very sturdy hold...but a few weeks later I added sand and I little bleach (to prevent bacterial growth), and it's unstoppable! I expect this to last me for many seasons. I also appreciate the multiple sizes of adapters that are included. This is great!

I have had so many issues with umbrella stands in the past. Our deck is a second floor deck, and it tends to be very windy. Previously, I had an iron weighted stand, and even with that, the umbrella blew off the deck into a neighbor's yard. I like that this stand is stable and fillable. We added both sand and water to make it sturdy and now don't have any issues with our umbrella. Really, its a great design.

I recently purchased this umbrella base, and it's been exactly what I needed for my outdoor setup. The base is made from recycled plastic, which gives me peace of mind knowing it's both durable and environmentally friendly. It does a great job handling the sun and weather without showing signs of wear, even after being outside for a while. The ability to fill the base with water or sand is a huge plus—once filled, it holds a solid 112 pounds, which keeps my umbrella stable, even on windy days. I’ve used it with both a table-mounted and freestanding umbrella, and it works well for both, with adjustable spacer parts that fit different pole sizes. It’s versatile enough for my 7-foot and 9-foot umbrellas.Installation was simple. Everything you need is included, and the tightening knobs are super handy to secure the umbrella firmly in place without any wobbling. Overall, it's a fantastic choice if you need a reliable, low-maintenance base for your patio or yard umbrella. Definitely worth the investment!
