  • PLEASE MEASURE your guitar neck before ordering. Your neck must be 1 1/2” minimum & 1 7/8” maximum width) and from the nut to the 3rd fret should be approximately 4″. If your neck is over 1 7/8" you need the "classical guitar" version. If it is less than 1 1/2" the ChordBuddy will not work on your guitar. The Distance from the nut to the 3rd fret should be approximately 4″, any less and the unit may not work properly.
  • RIGHT-HANDED only. This version only works on right-handed guitars. A left handed version is available in our other listings
  • The Chord Buddy works on most standard dreadnaught, full-size, 3/4 and 5/8-sized acoustic and electric guitars with average to low string height. This version will not work on 1/2 size guitars. Each guitar is different and installation and fitment can vary. Some guitars may take extra time to get the ChordBuddy dialed in and working properly.

Follow the Lesson Plan and within a few weeks, you'll begin removing some of the tabs and making the chords on your own. Before you know it, you'll be able to play the guitar without ChordBuddy! The included Download Card gives you access to video lessons and a Lesson Book. Instructions for using the ChordBuddy and more can be accessed online. The package includes the ChordBuddy device, plus digital access to instructional videos, lesson plan, and songs. It does not include any printed material.

This gadget is not worth the money or effort. You can only get about five chords out of this gadget. Don't waste your money. Learn guitar the right way.

Doesn't fit the acoustic or electric I have. When I think about it, I don't know how I could have thought 4 buttons would teach me how to play anything. Total garbage. I should have read the recent reviews first. I am just glad I did not break it trying to get it to even attach to the neck of my guitar.I thing videos and book learning is for me.

poor quality, does not fit my guitar, no instuctions included, user must download instructions which is difficulkt with my old computor & slow internet speeds. Terrible product & a waste of money
