Worked great for me and family this year on our tree! It lights up all different colors. All different kinds of flash levels and ways to change up the color and scheme of your star. Star is attached to small battery pack which you place on the backside of the tree. I had no issues with this. Best part is the remote control. Can change all the settings with a press of a button or two on the remote. Pretty cool for parents and the kids loved picking different colors and flash patterns each day during the Xmas season! Great value for your money especially since it comes with remote and ability to change colors whenever you want!

This is a lovely tree topper but is kind of heavy for the top of most trees. That is why I rated it a 3. I have an artificial tree and added a support rod down the spine of the top of the tree and secured it. After doing that I was able to add the star and get it to stay in place. It took some extra work but it looks great.

I wrote a review that the Christmas star tree topper stopped working after 3 days, I was wrong, it stopped because I had the wrong batteries in it. It is working fine now that I put the correct batteries in and it looks beautiful.

The star has many beautiful colors and combinations and lots of different modes for whatever your mood might be. Just want a nice gold glow? pink? silver? green? purple? pick your steady color, or rotate through them all, flash them, strobe them, or fade them softely. Easy to operate, great remote for the perfect star. It was a little top heavy for my tree, but I attached with a zip tie and it sits perfectly and securely on my tree. The tree is also from amazon and one of the prettiest ever!!

We loved the look, the variety of colors, changing lights and brightness. It is plastic, but it is also light weight. It is battery operated and also has a USB plug. While this is a convenience in some ways, it did not plug in to the string of lights on the tree. Of course you can use a usb plug, but I was not sure about putting that outside in winter weather. The battery and remote make up for this if the tree is close to the house as the remote only works within about 10 feet. Overall we liked the product.
